Hi ladies,
Just popping in to say little Sophia was born on Tuesday morning weighing 7lb 3oz. She's adorable!
Hope all the other boldies get their very cuddles soon!0 -
Congrats Laurabllue
Happy times ahead.
SamToby - its a good feeling being off isn't it? Im getting loads done - though Im dragging my heels today as I need to start painting the nursery/toy room. Bought the paint yesterday so no excuses! We located the cot bed yesterday so as soon as weve finished painting we will get that up. Also pulled out of storage all the neutral baby clothes - so think that washing them will be next weeks job. Starting to get real. Cant believe how quickly time has gone since 12 weeks0 -
Hey All
Congrats Laura on the birth of your little Sophia :T Hope all was smooth and straightforward.
Sam you must be so pleased to be finished. I'm glad you've got some time now for Uni work - hope that takes the pressure off a bit.
Sophiasmum sounds like you are really cracking on with things! I'm impressed with all that de-cluttering and DIYing. Hope you're not feeling too tired with the anaemia.
There's a lot of DIY I would love to do, but have to see what's possible as OH has an arthritis flare and don't want to stress him out. I guess 29 weeks is a bit late to start using the giant floor sander?! :rotfl: Don't want to vibrate my waters into breaking! Maybe a roller is a bit safer
Hugs for your poor eye NDG!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -
Taking a well deserved break at the moment Lara
Im conversely feeling better since I stopped taking iron tablets as they were making me feel ill/sick etc.. Just the spatone for me now - although I think the midwife will have something to say about that on Monday!!
I hate DIY to be honest - but DH is so busy at the mo (& I could do without him losing his job too!) that I have taken on the painting.... Have made To Do lists for us both - and I note that none of his list has got ticks yet!
Its Easter holidays here next week - for 2 weeks so I wont be achieving anything once I have the girls home from school with me......0 -
Congrats Laura!! Enjoy every minute with Sophia x
Little bit envious of those finishing work! I have annual leave next week then four more weeks at work.. but that still means I'm finishing at 35+4 which is pretty good! HB feels very low down today, like my lady bits at the front are really full (sorry if TMI!!) Samtoby I hope you get all the uni work done you need to, my uni and teaching placement are closed for the next two weeks giving me a lighter workload.
I'll be in the top thirty once some of these boldies have given birth, this baby really does have to come out doesn't it, I don't think I've fully realised that yet lol!

I've been feeling pretty irritable the pastfew days but luckily my OH is being very nice about it. Although he doesnt want to have sex at all as he says my belly is getting in the way! I'm taking it with a pinch of salt though, there's no way he'll hold out for another five weeks and then a few weeks after the birth! :rotfl:
I got a lovely Winnie the Pooh cotbed today, bargain at £30! I've been stocking up on nappies too, asda have big boxes of little angels nappies for £5. The size 1 boxes have about 80 in them, then I got 3 boxes of size 3s which had about 45 in.
The house is beginning to look like a mothercare stockroom!
DH has decided we can't have sex as well lol. Now he knows she has moved down and is engaged he is worried about frightening her. Bless him! I doubt DH can hold out till she is born as well :rotfl:
It sounds like you have found some brilliant bargains. I keep looking out for bargain nappies but unfortunately we just don't have the space to store a ton of them0 -

I wish my OH would decide that too! He likes curves (good job since I'm ordinarily a 16-18 and carry all my weight on boobs and bum!) and it seems throwing in an extra curve i.e my bump makes him want sex more! I don't think he's fully associated my big belly with a real person being in there and when we do DTD I have to remind him there's certain basic positions that are just not physically possible at 7 months gone! :rotfl:0 -
