Oh the magical dream genii pillow I absolutely love mine as it holds me on my side indefinately. I usually wake up halfway through the night to flip over though lol

    Loving all the clothes ladies!

My little lady had me fretting today as I hadn't felt her as much, tried to put it down to it being my first day back at work so a change of routine etc but now she's kicking up a storm so I feel silly for worrying!

Only 3 days left at work then a lovely long weekend can't wait!

    Hugs to all

    22+2

thank you so much for your advice it is much appreciated. I'm 17+1 today.

I'm sure I'm going bonkers... I am hoping against hope that I don't gain too much weight after all I've lost, so in one breath I'm happy that I appear to have not gained anything as yet, but in the same breathe I keep thinking that I should have a bump by now not just a big fat belly. Heavens knows how OH keeps track of my mind changing all the time given I can't understand myself lol

I was at a diabetic consultants appointment this morning, it's funny to think that they just don't know what to do with me lol I had type 2 a few years ago (mild) but since losing weight I am now deemed to be cured, but they are obsessed that I must have it throughout my pregnancy so I've been testing for the last week or so. My sugars are basically on the low side of normal which has really thrown them and my long term reading was better than each of the other staff's levels who were in the room at the time. Because I just don't fit their box they don't really seem to know what to do with me. at the moment they've decided that I should test one week in 4 - it is almost as if they're wanting it to happen.
The nurse did try to find the heartbeat again today and little sausage was playing hide and seek, it's still very low, barely above my pubic bone, and we only heard it for a couple of fleeting seconds. It was definitely there but the baby was just not going to play nice. Not boding well me thinks lol Hope it's much better behaved at my 20 week appointment.

sorry for the essay ladies, hope you're all well.

Glad they are relaxing a bit about your blood sugar testing Lemon tree!

All OK here - just tired, achy etc etc. I'm looking forwards to 3 extra days off too, though chasing round after a toddler isn't much of a break!
  • Bleugh, not been on for a while as been so tired. However this morning brushed my teeth without gagging so hoping for a change now.

Went to pg yoga for the first time - bump envy as I was the 'baby' of the class. It was good timing as I woke that morning for the first time with leg cramp. They also do antenatal hydrotherapy at my hospital - five sessions for £30 so might get some for my bday.

MiisI - hope your scan went well.

We picked up a dream genii pillow on Sunday whoch we got for a 1p on ebay :)

    We also bought:
travel system (buggy, car seat, carry cot) £5.75
Baby monitor including sensor pad and breast pump £39
maternity clothes (finally bit the bullet following a bra measuring episode in M&S where I walked out in tears of relief of a bra fitting again)
    mama and papas cot £6
    white company changing table £22
    nursing chair £13
    stair gates £3-5

Pleased with everything so far and got a few other bits arriving in the post. Feel like a fraud...

lemontree- funny how they gt ideas in their head

Jen - how exciting!!!! well jeal!!!! :T:j

    Evening ladies
Had my 16 week midwife appointment today which went well. She listened to the heartbeat but the baby kept kicking where the doppler was lol. A very active baby just like at my 12 week scan. It was nice though as it confirmed that what I had been feeling since about 12 weeks was in fact the baby moving! I knew it was but people didn't believe me that I felt it so early with it being my 1st so it put doubt in my mind!

Having some erm...toilet problems at the moment so got some prune juice. How much do I need to drink to get things moving? Could only get the from concentrate stuff, will it still work?

Small fib - just checked my ebay and the cot was actually £7.50. Travel cot was £5.70 and Avent steriliser was £5 with bottles.

I only have mse to thank :money:

On the site is an ebay page including an app that you can download. It lets you set the search radius based on your home address and then flags up items that are for collection only. Obviously collection only means less competition. We are also lucky in that I work across Berkshire so we have a pretty wide net. Despite one of my winning bids being 30 miles from home, on Thursday I'll be 3-5 miles away from them due to work and have been been able to co-ordinate a pick up.

That's interesting. I had a very odd ripply, bubbly feeling very low down on Sunday morning but was only 14 weeks on Monday. I've not felt it since and wasn't sure if it was wind. Speaking of which I am on the liquorice treatment for my own issues as I can't stand prunes so not sure. Imagine a standard 200ml glass would be sufficient. Do you drink coffee? If it is very bad I sometimes have a proper caffeinated cup to get things moving!
