  • Good luck to everyone with scans today, 20 weeks seems so far away for me at the moment but I'm sure it will fly by.

Tentatively posting here. 12 weeks today by my dates, emergency 'early' scan on Monday and 12 week dating scan on Wednesday. I was in the hospital for two days this past Sunday and Monday with viral gastroenteritis and found out last night that it was/is norovirus AND food poisoning. Antibiotics are starting tonight, so hopefully I'll feel better very quickly!

Aw congrats freshstart! Pink! Good luck to others today!
I can't wait for September 11th as 12 week scan I saw nothing the consultant didn't even turn screen as she said baby was awkward and wasn't worth it! Only put 1lb on since finding out at 7 weeks so I am worrying a little bit but urs also good in another respect!
Will call back later for more updates! :)

Had my scan also today, baby is just fine but off most of the scales in terms of size which apparently indicates it's likely to be over 9lb...! I'm only a size 10 normally so am going to get huge!!

    We are still Team Yellow.

I really enjoyed the scan and am so excited now...20 weeks(at least) to go!

Glad scans went well fresh start and Alice. Fresh start guess you will be buying lots of neutral colours! I don't envy you Alice giving birth to him/her!!

Talking of weight, I thought I hadn't put on too much until I jumped on the scales. Seem to have put on 5 kg and when I looked up how much someone my size before pregnancy should gain the total was 10kg!! Going to have to stop eating for 2 these next 18 weeks!! Think I will be better when back at work as too tempting to snack at home and haven't really done any exercise.
  • Scan was eventful! Baby was being difficult so had to go for a drink and a walk ... eventually got what they need was at the hospital 3 hrs... the men scanning me had no bed side mannners at all they didnt speak to me until the end of the scan I know they have a job to do bit a bit of reassurance goes a very long way. Also said in my notes that visibility was impared due to my size I'm a size 16 I didn't think that was huge !!!!
We are team blue it was the clearest bit if the scan ;-)
Glad everyone had a good day xx

Aww glad scans are going well. Tia I have already piled on 10kg! Not good but I am still wearing some normal size 10 clothes. I have to say though my bum is bigger than my bump lol.

Good luck frsh start buying neutral, we found it really hard as most was pink or blue. Let me know if you find a good shop. Thing is you don't need much as people buy you loads anyway and once you have the baby you can get whatever you need.
  • I have a 3d in 6 weeks so will confirm if girl then, she did say she was pretty sure but as couldn't get clear view couldn't say xx
