Thanks Daisie. I had some years ago when I went to Canada, no idea where they are though!

We're off to a Gran Canaria in 2 weeks, then we land back home not he Sunday and take off again not he Monday to Italy! We go at the same time there every year butt his year is special as we will celebrate our first anniversary of getting married out there too! We hadn't planned on GC as we had a holiday to turkey booked for October but since I'm due on 16th and we were meant to be abroad then I had to change it as I wasn't prepared to lose £600 deposit! Hubby can't get time off in summer months so this wast he only other time we could go. Means taking stepson out of school for a week which I don't agree with but this year I see it as exceptional circumstances. He doesn't get to go to Italy with us!

We're flying cattle class for the first holiday as it's a package deal so 4 hours of being cramped up (I've a 32.5 inch inside leg) just have to annoy everyone and constantly move about the cabin, won't be the first time I've done that as when I came back from canada the last time the woman I front of me fully reclined her seat and went to sleep when I was at the loo and I couldn't actually get into my seat! There was 47 in our group then so at least I managed to find folk to talk to hehe. Italy is lufthansa and split flights as we can't get direct to Venice from here so will be more room and also a break at Frankfurt where I can wander about.

We are all very quiet today! I presume that means everyone but me is off doing exciting things!

I am so bored and a tad fed up :(

I'm bored as well, haven't been anywhere today as want to stay in and keep furbaby company, but OH is also on a 12 hour shift. all I've done is knitting and eating, ooh and one load of washing. There's so much else to do but can't be bothered

Glad I am not the only one! (Well, not glad you are also bored, but you know what I mean!)

I feel like I am in limbo as the decorator is still here so I feel like I can't relax and do what I want. Would quite like a bath or a nap. Can't find anything I fancy to watch on TV so literally just sitting on the sofa browsing in my iPad at the moment feeling really fed up! I know I should move my fat bum and go and do something productive.

    Maybe in a minute.....

Hahaha I've been sat on the couch since 9am doing nothing. I managed to have a shower an hour ago and am still sat on the couch in my towel. Should probably go and get dressed as it's a bit chilly lol.

I hate when DH has to work but he needed Tuesday off as his Mum wants him to spend time with his niece and nephew who are over from Holland visiting their dad so rather than use his last holiday day he's working today. I'll have tomorrow with him but as he's in retail he's in work on Monday too. Really hope I find some motivation soon.

    Sit and watch an obem.
Make a brew realise Ive no biscuits or junk food.
Go to asda and buy the following:

    Caramel digestives
    Choc hobnobs
    2 tubs ben n Jerrys
    2 choux. Chocolate cream buns
    A chocolate fudge cake
    Two bars dairy milk
A bag of choc buttons with caramel in middle

    My schedule today:
Up about 9.30. Browse internet for a few hours, Wake up hubby for some very rare sexy time, shower and go to new local growers market and buy some cakes and fruit. Home, eat cakes and ignore fruit. Turn on football, surf web, think about baby names.
DH did all the laundry yesterday, bless him, so not much housework to do. I planning to do some crafty stuff now, and maybe sort through paperwork. I have a bad habit these days of not even opening mail! Must do that this weekend.

Rock and Roll lives we are all living!

I have still done nothing but decorator is about to leave so I will run a bath...then I will clear up the kitchen and make home made pizza for my sister and I.

The room is painted and looks lovely - just the paper to put up on one wall tomorrow now! It is going to be nice, I hope. It looks very sunny now.

I do feel a bit fed up and frustrated that I have basically wasted an entire day. Haven't even had a 'good' waste of a day if you know what I mean. Have not done anything productive AND have not enjoyed doing nothing productive! Rubbish. Must do better!
  • We also went to bed at midnight which is the latest time for ages, maybe even this year! After waking at 7am we had breakfast and headed to pg yog. We spent some time stretching and some time doing massage on each other for labour pains. We went to M&S to buy dine in for £10 and came back. DH unpacked shopping, emptied dishwasher, while I made new potato, asparagus, tomato and olive salad with corn on the cob. My mum and step dad came round, had a look at all baby stuff, she brought a small baby grow and swaddling blanket. We gave her the old baby cot from the loft in my dad's that we picked up a while ago and our little table and chairs. We put the lodger's washing up in his food cupboard as we were tired. I had a cup of tea, we watched a little bit of TV and just woke from a 90 min sleep.

I now have work friends over in about an hour for drinks and nibbles before going out this evening. I need to get changed and lay out said nibbles etc.

t2d - bit jell. Not been in the mood forever but still miss it :(
