Hi ladies, sorry to Go AWOL
Felt truly lousy yesterday and about 15 mins before needing to Leave for clinic scan I was being very very sick. Couldn't stop shaking , couldn't get warm and had a blinding headache.
Got to clinic and they took me straight in, queue lots of nurses and doctors fussing and checking everything. Had my scan first, about 10 follies all ready to go, EC Friday at 10am. Then they took my into another room, I had to have urine tests, blood tests, anti sickness meds (as being sick was causing horrible pain in my chest and stomach) intravenous antibiotics and then a bag of fluid via drip.
Had to stay til results came from lab. They were worried about OHSS, my appendix and all sorts of things. Only thing my results came up with was very low salt and blood sugar and my temperature kept heading up to 39!
Finally got home about 6pm and came right to bed, apart from trigger shot and bathroom visits I've Been here ever since! Still very weak and got a terrible headache, I've got more antibiotics to take (penicillin) and just hope I feel better for EC tomorrow (10am) really not how I planned and am hoping all this won't affect my eggs or our chances!!
Very pleased that you have more now LA, when is you next scan?2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Lisa, sorry to hear you're so poorly! I was very very sick (illest I have ever been in all my days) the day of embryo transfer to the point where I thought they wouldn't go ahead but embryologist (sp?) said things like sickness, bugs etc wont affect your eggs/embryos, and other ladies here have been told the same so try not to worry, just rest and get better
Do they know what caused it? Have they ruled out OHSS?

Just an update, hospital said everything is fine so far. HCG doubled as it should and I shouldn't worry about the spotting unless it changes colour. Feeling more reassured. Just now praying that everything runs smoothly.
Thank you to all for your kind words, they really helped.
Lots & lots of babydust to you all.0 -

Everything crossed for tomorrow LA, hopefully the follies have got the hang of it by now. Seems like loads of us have lazy ones to start with... makes sense I guess, if we had ovaries that listened we wouldn't be doing this in the first place :rotfl:.
Last norethisterone this evening then I'm officially on knicker-watch0 -
