Thanks PM and tea for the hugs. Sorry for being such a misery guts but the met is making me feel so unwell, DH just will not hear me saying I'm not well so is being unsupportive. I also checked my paperwork and apparently I have to take met throughout the cycle of treatment?! I think I might just book myself into the asylum now!!!

*hugs to isla and those that need*
Feeling a little better today, I have "given in" and am going to see the doctors RE stress and anxiety on Friday, I'd been trying not to as I'd read that if we decide to go for adoption this would be a big black mark but I can't cope any more, I just don't have any way of letting all this "ARG" out... The only people I talk to about this is you guys and my OH, but.. he's a man, he wants to "fix things" and can never understand that I just need hugs and someone to talk to.
My boss now thinks I'm a crazy woman as I burst into tears in our 1-2-1. Hey ho....

Isla, I feel for you, I really do. This probably won't help but I've been on met for nearly 2 years and still feel like c.rap (sorry!) But I do know that's unusual and it tends to settle down much quicker than that. Fingers crossed for you x.

When we had our follow-up appt after ICSI 1, they said it was even more important to keep taking the met now I'd had a m/c. That made me cry! The m/c was bad enough (obv!) but the thought of being stuck on this for another year or so tipped me over the edge. Have told OH that if it doesn't work this time I will be stopping the second I know.

Picklekin - massive, massive hugs sweetie. I think it's a great move that you're asking for help. I hope the appt goes well. I'm sure your boss will be fine. Mine's down here for a meeting today (we work at different sites) and a colleague has told me to talk to her about my stress etc. (I have the rage.... think Ross from friends when someone ate his sandwich :o:rotfl:)

    star - yay!!!!

    Hi all,
Tea, when I asked about it. It takes up to 4 to 5 days for AF to appear.
Good luck to those ladies on stimms and getting those Eggs going.

Got my appointment tomorrow for endo scratch and mock transfer. Such also get my stimms medications ready for cycle.
    Good vibes to all x

tea thanks for your kindness and honesty. I know there are people in here going through a lot worse and I feel like a total cow for moaning about something so small but I really didn't expect to have to feel like utter sh*t from day 1. OH is being worse than useless about it which is making me feel even lower. I'm so grateful for this thres.

pickle it definitely sounds like you've done the right thing. Remember asking for help is not defeat.Your OH sounds like mine, if he can't fix it it's bamboozling

    star YAY that's great news!

Good luck for your scan lisa and to you too good vibes
I promise I'll try to be a bit more positive.

We're not ranking the pants-ness of our days lol! You moan all you like, and never feel like your 'complaint' isn't as valid as someone else's. We all appreciate that there are no stages of this process that are particularly fun. Hugs xx.
