Hi ladies, wishing all the ladies having treatment a smooth sailing and successful outcome.

I don't post often now that we have realistically given up trying but I do read this thread almost every day but don't feel I have much to contribute.

I wanted to provide an update on where I am with the adoption process. We are now half way through stage 1. We have attended two days if our preparation course and have two more days to attend next week. References have been sent to friends, family and employers. I have started voluntary work with children and today I have had my medical. We have completed many forms and still have sooner more documents to prepare and books to read from their reading list we were given. At the end of this stage a social worker and manager will review all of the information and decide if we can progress to stage 2. Fingers crossed!

Woo Lisa, that's great!! Now get resting :) Sending fertilisation vibes your way xx.

A guy at work has just been really rude to me, even asked me how long I've worked here (with a very clear implication that I have no idea what I'm talking about). I've been here nearly 7 years! Going to sack it off soon and go home and take it out on the cleaning.... love a good friday afternoon angry cleaning session (I need to get out more!)

    Hi everyone!

I was tidying out my 'TTC bag' this evening (I can't be the only one with one of these surely?!) and I couldn't find the spare FRER I had left. It occurred to me that I must have binned it by mistake along with the packaging from a twinpack after my last BFN about a week ago. We have fortnightly collections, so I figured if that's what happened, it would still be lurking in the wheelie bin. Which it was. So I fished it out, peed on it and...BFP.

And yes, been here before, I know, this is 4th BFP in 10 months, and all my previous BFPs have perished. But still...BFP.

    Could this be the one?

The funny thing was, I walked home from work in the rain today, and then the sun came out and there was a most beautiful rainbow. I had one of those moments of 'faith' that I have every now and again when nature does something beautiful and I did ask myself - if this a message from above?!! Maybe it was..

Ww and Tea hugs to you both, my mums the same hardly says a word in fact she told me that chances of sucess were so small we might as well stop.

Thanks PM, my mum has done the 'you can always adopt/why don't you just adopt' thing but for some reason I don't take offence from her. I need to do some angry cleaning tonight but really can't get going...

Star that's great news that there is no fluid. Good luck for tomorrow. Are you having sedation for transfer?

But sometimes you just want someone else to show that they've even remembered, if that makes sense.

Makes total sense Tea, it does feel like a lonely journey sometimes.

Primmer, how are you finding the adoption process? xxx

A gazillion OPKs, HPTs, Pre-seed, vits etc and a few 'luxury' HPTs for those TLP moments. Plus random stuff like newspaper articles that mention things that might be relevant like names of possible treatments, advice etc. And previously, my CBFM.

If you don't have a TTC bag, where do you put all the Stuff?!

I don't even keep TTC vits in the medicine cupboard because I don't want anyone prying..
