Hi all, I'd posted briefly a few months ago, I hope you don't mind me dipping my toes in again.

We had our 1st fc appt today & found out that dh has a high level of anti-sperm antibodies & they're recommending icsi. It kinda came as a bolt out of the blue - GP had told dh his sa results were more less all fine :mad: We didn't think to ask any questions, but now that I'm starting to take it in a bit more I feel like I need a bit more info.

Do you of you lovely ladies have any experience/knowledge about anti-sperm antibodies?

Elles, how's the stims going? I had my baseline scan on Thursday, started my injections last night and have my first monitoring scan on wednesday! So I guess you're about a week ahead of me, we can get through this together! xx

How are you feeling with the down regging?
How did your first injection go? I found it was fine when I did it - it was the thought of sticking it in which was :eek: !!!!

I had mine Friday - had about 13 follicles! Which was great because at Christmas, I had 6 antral follicles in total so was worried about whether I would respond! I had a 17mm/18mm which she said would prob overmature over weekend, but had about 6 which were 10mm ish so hopefully after this weekend and three more stabs, she thought would be about right for this week! Have another scan tomorrow then we should know!
Don't you just feel like a pin cushion!!???

Hello, how is everyone?

Well I am currently PUPO with two embies on board.

It was a day 5 transfer however they were a bit slower so weren't quite blastocyst (8 eggs, 6 fertilised great and were doing well Saturday, just slowed since) they will try to take the others to tomorrow then see if we can freeze any)

Has anyone been in this position on day 5 and how did it work out?
They did say 30/40% success chance so trying to be positive but obviously not optimum.

Ah thanks Janey! How are you???

So heard from clinic again and none of our other embies made it for freezing... But I did double check how far behind our two were and they said early blastocyst but too early to grade... So am feeling more positive!

That sounds good! Although a shame the others didn't make it. I'm Ok, just disappointed not to be pregnant after my hsg and now waiting for Jan when we are supposed to start iui. I seem to spend my days trying to avoid the pregnant lady at work...
