  • Hi All

    SewIt - YAY!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j

As for me, bitter sweet news.. AF finally arrived today. So it was just a 31 day cycle which is mega weird for me (the bird who has NEVER had a cycle longer than 28days at most)

But hey ho.... at least I am worrying LESS now about all of those other things which no af might have signalled!!

CD1 - Here I go again LOL
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

  • SewIt - Currently on day 33 and started DR on cd 21 was worried that AFdid not show up called to hospital and was told that AF May or May not come but still to go ahead with scan on March 3rd. Just came back from work and noticed that I have started spotting so AF is turning up after all on march 3rd it will be cd 5.

  • Afternoon all

Not had time to post on here, lifes thrown us a bit of a curveball over the last few months so been a bit all over the place.

We got the results back from our tests, my CD21 bloods were OK and showed I was ovulating but DH SA results weren't so good. Can't remember the exact figures but the sperm count was below 15 million and morphology was 98% ( I think thats what they called it? ) so they think we'll either need IVF or ICSI. DH has to do another SA so they can do further tests apparently to identify what our best option is and we go back in 4 weeks to talk about it all.

Im pleased we have an answer now but not sure we're in the right place at the moment to go for IVF/ICSI or not

I'm hoping to have more time to come on here and chat to you ladies as I know some of you are going through similar things, its all a bit scary and surreal for me at the moment I think :o

    Squeeeee that's brilliant sewit.

    Hugs Chocoholic.

Am in a better mood today. Have been a little upset still for the last few days. Really hurt last night as my friends little boy adored my hubby and just kept running up to him and giving him huge hugs.
I really feel like that's about it for us for now. May is a long time away for the next appointment, and that was only a scan. Hubby doesn't seem to even want to discuss it anymore.
Today has been the closest I have got to telling my mum what is going on. I think she's half guessed, either that or she thinks I'm pregnant.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Ooh really?? I would love a cycle buddy :D. I start nore-whatsit on 14th March, and should hopefully start stimms w/c 24th March.

chocoholic - easier said than done but try not to panic. SA results can change a lot from test to test (far more than our results do) so it could well be better news after the next test. There are also pretty simple lifestyle changes that can make a difference such as different underwear, vitamins etc. Also 15 million isn't that bad, especially for ICSI. We usually have less than 0.5mil and managed to get to BFP stage (ok it went downhill after that but AFAIK that wasn't sperm related). Anyway, will stop rambling now but just wanted to send a big hug and say although it all seems big and scary right now, we're all here for you and it'll be ok xx.

sewit - you cracked open a digi yet??

When are the next testing days?
