I've been lurking for the last little while as I've not had a lot to add. :o

I've overdue a full blurb on what's been happening with us, but...

I need you lovely ladies to talk me down... We've been TTC again since the ICSI BFN in the autumn... So I ov'ed last week and AF is due Sunday/Monday... Since a few days after ov I've had the weirdest feeling that I might be pg.

I know this is totally ridiculous and far too early, and I don't really have any symptoms I can pin down. It's just a feeling. I've had slight things like some cramping and bloating a few days after ov which have since gone, and today I was out for a run and had distinctly tingly nipples (TMI!), but then it was freezing out. :rotfl:

In our nearly four years of TTC I've only felt this way once before, about last April. I then had AF bang on time, but it lasted 11 days and I went to the GP as I'm always regular cycles and 4-5 day AF. The GP said I'd probably conceived and lost it so early that I just got AF as normal but that made it last longer. I hadn't tested that month because AF was on time, so we'll never know.

But now I can't help wondering! :o And I know it's ridiculous and irrational and I'm just setting myself up to be upset when AF arrives. Normally now I just get mildly disappointed as it's been so long. Help!
  • Happy belated birthday code
I hate dates and numbers, I'm at that 3rd cut off point now, no babies after 40, 41, and coming up to 42, apparently its all healthy in there though.

    Congrats emmaj and skaps:beer:
It's good to see all these pos results so early in the year!

I'm at optimum TSH levels so hopefully that will help, but my excrutiating abdominal pains werent due to Clomid side effects but gallstones. Lucky me!

So sorry to hear about your father Gelly, hugs to you xx

AFM, back from Thailand, boy is it cold here! Still no AF, although (TMI warning!) I've been having some spotting since Monday, just when I go to the loo, although once yesterday and once today there was a bit more, but now nothing. Lots of cm too, and the weird thing is I feel like I'm leaking, but nothing actually is. Its so frustrating, but I think that I might give in and do a test tomorrow, as that is a sure fire way to start AF properly :o

Hope everyone else is ok xx

I have had some good news today that I wanted to share with you, we are going through the adoption process and were approved to adopt at an approval panel meeting in November 2014. Since approval we have been trying to find the right child for us and today, fingers crossed, we may have found him. We met with his social workers and our social worker last week to find out more about him. Today we confirmed that we want to proceed with him and his social workers confirmed that they also want to proceed with us! There is still a way to go yet, more meetings and then eventually a matching panel meeting and if approved at that panel, then it will be more certain. Feeling happy right now :)
