  • Hi all,
so sorry floaty *hugs*it's crap, look after yourself.

I have just completed ABx after sending my AF blood to Athens Lisa. I didn't come back with hidden C,but came back with infection on the 1-7 test. Clinics don't test AF blood here. So had a uterine raging infection, which can prevent implanting and cause MC.
I did research after last failed cycle. I wanted to try Athens, but OH doesn't want to yet and wants to try our clinic again.
My AF is lighter and cramps less painful.
Had follow up appointment and they just put it down to bad luck. and need to get my BMI down (hard when been on hormones last 2 years).

PM you would think that something could be done, that must be really hard for you x

Not much to report here, just waiting on my next appointment now. Been feeling a bit all over the place, teary, cramps, sickness, tired but only had my visit from AF last week so don't understand whats going on, I have had really short cycles before so unless thats whats happening or I'm coming down with something maybe. Sitting feeling like I could burst into tears at a moments notice which isn't nice! God help me when I start these injections :rotfl:

Hi ladies, apologies for being AWOL for a bit, currently sunning myself in Thailand til Tuesday, and only just found free wifi!

Congrats to WW, so pleased for you, have a smooth 9 months x

So sorry to hear your news Floaty, sending you massive hugs at this time x

Fingers crossed Emma and Skaps, hope the 2ww isn't driving u totally crazy!

AFM, Mother Nature is doing my head in! Didn't take clomid this month, as it didn't fit in with holiday dates. I usually have a cycle of around 27-29 days, v unusually for pcos, so AF was due some time around the 5th. She's still not here! Now I don't know what to think. Could it be the jet lag is messing me around, or can clomid mess up my cycle even when I don't take it, help!! One thing I know is I can't take a test til at least Wednesday, didn't think to bring one with me and its not the kind of thing that's easy to buy over here!!

Big hugs to everyone, will check in again when I'm home xx

I'm sorry Laura I don't know, this was my first month on Clomid. But it shortened my cycle, my cycle was only 27 days long this month. No idea if that's normal either or not.

Nothing to report, its cd2 here and I've got to make up my mind to take this months tablets of clomid. This month is very complicated as OH will be away again when its the correct timing for dtd. I don't want to be taking them again for no reason, but don't want to mess around and not take them.

Have completely realised there is a very bad side to getting promotions at work, it means I hardly ever see OH at all.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Oh this is a difficult one. I turn 35 tomorrow and normally, I'm not a big fan of my birthday anyway, and I am really struggling. Because it's 35!! 35!!! That big, screaming, flashing cut off that we're told about in every article about fertility. Where we're told that our fertility jumps off the cliff, like so many lemmings, where we're told our remaining eggs are all defective anyway.

But, we can't have a baby due to DH's lack of sperm anyway, so whether my eggs are fertile are not should be irrelevant right? Why is it bothering me so much?

    Anyone else struggle with this?
