Just nipping in to say I'm still lurking and cheering you all on
Well done on the egg haul Floaty xxx
Frozen, please could you update the list as I'm now in the 2ww...again xxx0 -
Hi, my name is Lucy. I have a daughter who just turned 3. We conceived her naturally after 8 months of not really trying, just hoping.
However, when she was 6months old we started trying for number 2. 2.5yrs later and no pregnancy. We've both had tests and we are all clear. They said I had loads of eggs, and his sperm was super fast!
We are just about to shell out £1200 on IUI and I'm quite scared.
It's a lot of money, it might not work, I have to self inject :eek::eek:, and they are going to put me on drugs to stimulate ovaries.
The drugs might make me hugely hormonal and I'm worried I'll be mean and grumpy to my lovely little girl and husband.
Yet I really really want another babyI just don't know what to do

Thanks all for your kindness. I just had the call from the hospital and all three eggs fertilised. Waiting for another call on Thursday - ET will either be Thursday or Friday.
Skaps, hope you're not feeling too uncomfortable. I found EC a relief after the bloating and injections. Are yours going ok now?
Good luck for your 2ww WW! When's OTD?
Hope all's well with you too Emma.

Thank you Frozen
Sorry I've not posted much, I've been feeling quite low with all the extra meds but do still read.
Floaty what a great fertilisation rate! MY OTD is 3Feb but I usually end up testing before. Looks like you'll be joining me in the 2ww soon xx0 -
Looks like it's all going well forward for everyone! (Non-alcoholic for everyone of course!)
Unfortunately it's a BFN for me again, so on to the 3rd lot of Clomid. Hopefully my higher dose of Levythyroxine will have kicked in and bought those levels down to where I might actually conceive!0 -
Can I go back on the list please? After my op last August we were told to wait until Christmas and 'see how it goes' (grr). As I'm not magically pregnant after a lap (there's a surprise!), we've got an appointment through for 26th Feb. I know they will tell me to lose more weight (already lost 2.5 stone) but will see what they say.
Going to be a great week off work - husband going in for an op on Monday, puppy dog in on the Tuesday, and then at the clinic on Thursday. Thought weeks off work were for sunny holidays and fun?!0 -
Hi lucy and Tam, hope you don't stick around here very long in the nicest possible way.
My weight watchers pack is in the post so looks as though I start that next week.
Went to a set of fitness classes last night so I'm a little achy, did a high impact class, Abs tums and bums, followed by Zumba. So am still on an exercise high 24 hours later. All rounded off by a jog today, I can see why people can become addicted to exercise.
Have just made fruit roulade tonight, which was from a slimming world recipe. Was quite scrummy and has given me the sweetness lift I needed.
Nothing really else going on here. At least nothing exciting.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -
How did your scan go today skaps?
Hugs to you all xxx0
