  • Thanks, Part Mouse! Have they given you a reason for the bleeding? Did they say how long after using the hormones that it would take effect? Xx

Fd ivd had all these tablets before but they havent worked. Im on 2 a day for 2 weeks then break then back on them again. Basically my womb lining is terrible. My lining is less than 5mm but its still coming away. Even the injections struggle to hold it back.she said again surgery is the only real soloution.

Fairy - oh honey huge hugs to you, I know exactly how you feel. At the same point in my cycle as last time (which was Fri) I was totally on edge and convinced I had AF pains. Some of it I put down to my mind playing tricks on me, could this be the case with you? (not trying to belittle your symptoms or worries here, just asking). I don't want to be at work either, I'll come over and we can cry together on the couch!!

Your OTD seems very far away, that would make you 16dp3dt or there abouts? As your EC/ET was only a few days behind me and my test day is tomorrow, is it worth calling the clinic to check? Is it GRI you are at ( I think I remember it is) Who is your consultant?

PM - how do you feel about your appointment? Did you get the answers you wanted or do you feel it was just same old, same old? Was it that same FS that you saw?

Oh ladies, this is such a difficult road we have to travel. :(

Sewit it was the same fs, it was the same old really. Went through my gyne history and all the surgerys I've had. There's nothing more they can do about the bleeding until we've finished ttc so realistically its bleeding for a few years more :( she said once weve come to the end off the ttc road my womb is no good to me so get rid of it as all I'm doing is bleeding. I know its been on the table before but then there really is no chance of ever getting pg after that.

I've just got to wait now, take the tablets and see about funding. I thought we would start again this week and had no idea about funding being an issue :(

Fairy massive hugs. It's heart sinking to see it. Ring your clinic, take the day off work, do whatever you need to do to get through this. Thinking of you.

Sewit - is it work booking tomorrow or Wednesday off work so you don't have any pressure to act normal at work regardless of the result?

PM - did your FS suggest any short term solutions? How bureacratic and frustrating this funding process is.

AFM we have a review appointment next week and are considering a FET or shipping our 2 frosties to Australia to use after we've emigrated.

Rg I hope your review can be useful in some way, huge hugs to you.

No short term solution than taking more hormones.

Thanks RG, I'm going to pee in the thing in the morning, test in the evening and work from home on Wednesday. I am expecting it to be negative and gearing myself up as best I can for that.

How are you feeling both emotionally and physically? Good you got your review through so quickly and I hope it gives you some answers.

PM - that is a bummer, didn't know that funding would be an issue for you? Is there any chat about moving you onto IVF/ICSI yet? Hope the tablets work, is it the same ones or different ones?

Sewit it looks like I'm going through the next 4 rounds of injections then maybe surgery then Icsi. It's stupid really about the funding as I was funded fir 6 cycles of injections before my fs moved. I'm still under her care just changed hosp.

It's different tabs but had them before, they don't mix well with depression though.

Oh PM - I think the whole process (and especially the way you're being faffed about) isn't a great help for depression. Sending massive hugs your way.
Sewit - have everything crossed for tomorrow.
RG - hope your follow-up appt goes well and best of luck for whatever you decide to do next.
Fairy dust - still got everything crossed for you, take care.
bigmomma - I think we all have those paranoid moments! I was googling perimenopause this morning :o

We had our appt this morning - much as expected. They were incredibly thorough with all our paperwork this time! All the consents etc. are signed and I have a prescription for nor.... whatever it's called. They said they fully understand if we don't want to go with them anymore, but at least this way we're ready to go in another month if that's what we decide.

OH pleasantly surprised me by being quite cross with them and sounding like he knew what he was talking about! So now we need to decide if we trust them enough to go through with another cycle. There isn't really anywhere else close enough to be practical though, so it's basically use them or not bother.
