Ahhhh Dam It... I was gonna go visit my dealer tonight :rotfl::rotfl:Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0 -

Huge hugs RG , please take care of yourself.
I don't remember who asked about first ivf appointment and OH not attending. I went to my first IVF appointment alone and it was no problem DH could not come as he works in Sheffield.
They usually ask general questions like smoking drinking age DOB occupation etc. the consent forms were sent to me by email which I printed at home we both signed over the weekend and I took them with me to the appointment so DH does not always have to be there at the first appointment.Saving goal for BTL mortgage - 28600 / 60000 ( July 2021) , 37600/60000 (December 2021) , 39300 / 60000 (august 2022) , 41000/60000 ( January 2023)0 -
I'm so sorry RG. Hugs x
Hi Primmer! I'm ok thanks. Lurking a lot
Nothing to report really, filling in forms etc. We've got life history forms, medical consent forms, work consent forms, family & friend reference forms... You get the idea! Hope you're ok too!When people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
Tea - that's great news about AF but absolutely sh***y about the forms. I agree with everyone else, definitely speak to someone about their attitute (PALS or something similar) - I know it's not going to make this cycle any better but it might make them realise how they treated you is completely wrong. Sending feline hugs to you xx
PM - hugs to you as well, I can't imagine what it must be like, I hope you get some sort of answers or help at your appointment tomorrow xx
RG - so sorry to hear your news. Take care of yourself and DH and I wish you all the very best of luck with your future plans. Hugs fellow follie foursome cycle buddy xxx
tia - my DH did come to our very first appointment but it wasn't necessary for him to be there, all they did was ask him some questions which I could have easily answered anyway.
bigmomma - I think we've all felt like that, even at my IVF referral appointment last December, even as the consultant was wielding the ultrasound wand, there was still a stupid little bit of my brain thinking "ooh, perhaps he'll find a baby". :rotfl: It's perfectly normal! All the best for your appointment.
Thanks Fairy and SewIt - how are you two? When's OTD?
My transfer went well, a bit uncomfortable but nothing too bad. I ended up shedding a few tears when they were transferring it!I told the nurse I was being silly and she said it's perfectly normal to feel emotional. We got 3 pictures of the blastocyst as well (we feel a little bit like proud parents showing off our scan pictures already!
)
When we arrived the embryologist said all 4 embies were still doing well although at 9am in the morning they were still at morula stage and hadn't yet transformed. She said though that she'd still been able to pick a clear winner and she was expecting it to have reached blasto stage by 10.30am which it had when they transferred it.
The other 3 embies she was going to check this morning and freeze if they had made it to blasto stage - one of them she said looked a bit 'suspicious' but the other two she said she had no worries about. I'm going to ring the clinic tomorrow but fingers crossed we will have had 2 (possibly 3) frozen today!
Hugs to everyone xxx0
