Had EC today, didn't go well. Loads of empty follicles. No answer why from the staff. Both very upset, hiding in a hole for the day and wish it never happened.

Aww, thanks for the t-rex, made me smile. I'm sorry to hear that GV, did they manage to get any at all? They told me that not all of the follicles would contain eggs, but they never said if there actually were any empty one, I don't think they know why it happens

That's the thing pickle, good sized ones and no eggs. Had 11 in total, got 4 little eggs only (The rest empty), they are not positive they are mature enough. It is rare it happens and they don't know why. Been told only takes one, but when your sat there and they are not. Heard that one for the last few years, goes over your head and get fed up of hearing it.

Aww GV, that sucks big, big hugs for you xx.

We had similar in that we got a good number of eggs but most of them were piddly little things that they couldn't even use. Scans would show lovely-looking follicles but the eggs coming out of them were a bit cr.ap!

Hope you're feeling ok physically after the EC and have got your feet up xx.

* pickle - you almost didn't get a T-rex for testing early. #toughlove It's not over till OTD and even if you might have picked up hormones this early, the levels would certainly be so low that you'd only have any chance with your first pee of the day. But that doesn't mean you should test tomorrow morning.

More t-rex joy, thank you. I know I'm naughty, but I just wanted "confirmation" it was over, so I can stop hoping. I know you all know what I mean. I know its not over completely till OTD but the blood is worse now and I really think its easier NOT to hope.
