    Yeah, he's lovely. :)
  • I found I slept loads while DR-ing, I tried to go to bed about 10pm each night listening to my IVF Belief CD but I was still yawning about 11am at work each day.

Pink - Just a thought as well as you work at a uni - ours has a 'Women's Rest Room' hidden away in one building with a chair, bed and fridge. It's supposed to be for pregnant women and people breastfeeding but the HR dept said it was fine to use it during IVF treatment as well.
Quite useful at lunchtime cos you could go and have a lie down for half an hour and try and do a bit of deep breathing and relaxation and what-not.
Might be worth trying to find out if your uni has anything similar? xx

Ooh FP you're a genius! I've read we have something like that before - I think it's aimed at breastfeeding women but I'll ask.

Had absolutely no DR side-effects until today. Fatigue has hit me like a ton of bricks. I can't concentrate at all and I literally feel like I could put my head down on my desk and go straight off to sleep!

Our campus is set in a huge park so might bring my picnic blanket in tomorrow and go for a lie-down outside at lunchtime!
  • pink - Just because I'm a nosy so and so, do you mind me asking which uni you're at? (no worries if you don't want to say online :) )

I work at Bath, also in a huge park - but usually with students sat in every corner!

Sorry to hear your feeling so tired Pink.. I'd send a virtual coffee but.. caffeine :naughty::p

    Exciting news FP! :D

My appt went OK, I'm now go for launch on my next cycle!

I didn't really feel my questions were well answered, just got told to "do what you normally do" when it came to diet and exercise, tried to point out I'm on diet and just got "well done"... *rolls eyes* But I think I have an action plan in my head now. It was a bit weird though, because we have always been told OH's sperm is "fine" but got told it was below average yesterday and we are backup ICSI now (another grand if needed ). We now need to decide on some optional extras, like some glue (huh??) and an endo scratch. I will read up, but don't like the sound of the scratch as it means you can't "try" that month. They all add up in costs too, but obvs we want the best chance....

    Glue?!!

Feeling fine again today. Yesterday was horrible. By the evening I felt like I wanted to stop the whole process and give up. I felt exhausted all day, just wanted to sleep, and really, really down. Quite a lot of tears. I was freaking out that it was just going to get worse and worse as DR progressed (baseline scan still over two weeks away). Today I feel.... Normal! !!!!!!? Ah well, certainly not complaining. :D

pickle - I asked the nurse when I could keep dieting till. She gave me a look of "Eh??" and said "You realise if this works you'll be eating for two"!! Looked online and advice for people who got better advice was it's still fine in DR, but to eat well (healthily, and not withholding calories) during stimming as your body's working hard.

Yesterday though, on my rubbish day, I just craved sugar all day long. Ate so much junk food. So you might find DR sends the diet out the window anyway. If that happens, just go with it. I burst into tears over a malted milk biscuit saying I shouldn't be eating it!! :rotfl:

Ahh, my clinic does the glue thingy - http://www.bathfertility.com/treatments/embryos/embryoglue-for-embryo-transfer - we've not done it so I don't have any advice sorry but I will definitely let you know how my scratch goes in a week or so! :)
