  • Thanks everyone! I love that it's such a community on here and that such a lovely group of people are all rooting for my little embies :) I'd do exactly the same for you all as well xxx

I'm back at work today (only a sit down office job), I thought it would be a bit of a distraction to stop me worrying but it just all feels so surreal!

loveactually - I down-regged for about 3 and half weeks before stimming but didn't have any symptoms for about 10 days. Even then I only felt tired all the time, had a couple of hot flushes and a mild headache a lot of the time. I was convinced it wasn't working! Good luck with your treatment! xx

    jammy - that's fab news!

Fairy - breakfast was good thanks! Just our luck though that we managed to run into a couple of DH's relatives and a friend in the farm shop and had to hastily think of why we were both not in work! Also had a couple of days off from eating healthily and scoffed a Galaxy bar all to myself as well :)

tea - have you got the IVF Belief CD? If you have then the stimms bit starts a bit weird (all about trees and tall buildings :D) but it does end up making sense and I still have no idea what half of the track sounds like because I was always asleep.

Fairy, SewIt, RG - how are you three lovely PUPO ladies doing? I'm keeping a PMA for all three of you, even if I'm only hesistantly doing it for myself!

Will update everyone later on the latest embie report - hugs to everyone :grouphug: xxx
  • *Doh! Just read your reply tea
I really like the CD - I think it's certainly stopping me stressing so much. Hope it helps you too xxx

I like it so far. When I have to deal with annoying people at work (all the time - muppets!) I like to think that they are outside my cloud of protection lol.

Oooo ok I'm sold. I've got the Zita West cd and I don't get on with it, got annoyed with it rapidly but I'll give this one a try. Where did you get yours from ladies?

I got it from amazon. Did look on ebay but all they seemed to have on there was the ZW one.

    Hiya
Next time you do an update can you put the following for me: Just gone on IVF list. Laproscopy fine and no blockage in tubes. No endo and diagnosed with Unexplained fertility. Hope to start treatment in next 2-4 months..

    Good luck everyone
  • lisa - I got mine from Amazon as well, I think it was about £15 or £16 which was a bit more expensive than some of the others but I like the fact that it had all 5* reviews. And although I've only listened to 2 out of 3 of the tracks, I'd definitely recommend it. xx

emmaj30 - great news about the treatment, good luck with everything xx

tea - 'cloud of protection', love it! My serenity spot was a deserted beach on the Isle of Harris in Scotland; the stimms track also asks you to count back from 300. I had this idea that I'd use the serenity spot and counting to relax and fall asleep during EC - in the end I completely forgot about the beach and only got to 298 before I was out cold :rotfl: xx

    emmaj30 - updated on front page :)

fp - I am SO looking forward to EC again. I really, really love that feeling of going under :o:rotfl:. My serenity spot is the garden of an anglican shrine in Norfolk. I've been there a couple of times (years ago) but had no idea it was still buried in my mind somewhere. On my more optimistic days I'm looking forward to taking OH and our baby there and explaining to them how special the place is for us. I'm going to sit in the place I've been imagining for the past month with my beautiful baby and have a picnic in the sun :)
  • Oh what great news I have just been reading - so pleased for all you PUPO ladies and those who are DR. Wishing you all the best of luck.

I think AF is due next week - right in the middle of my holiday  Not much I can do about that.

I have a question that I hope someone will be able to answer. If the US and HSG all showed clear/normal results, is it normal protocol that they carry out a laproscopy before IVF/ICSI can start?

    xx

I'm not sure there is a 'normal' tbh, every single hospital seems to like to do things differently. Is there anything specific they're looking for (any endo symptoms?) or do they do this for everyone?
