danielley - we'll all be thinking of you next week! Hoping you can still take it easy after EC, and definitely don't go to the funeral if you don't feel up to it. Your FIL would want you to look after yourself first, I'm sure.

AFM, poxy spotting has stopped completely (after barely anything) so maybe CD1 won't be tomorrow! If it's at a weekend I have to wait until Monday to phone, arrgghhh! And of course, with that, I'm getting my hopes up slightly that the test was wrong. Someone slap me. :rotfl:

Just been back to p1 of the thread and read your story, pickle. Same as us except we've been TTC since July 2011, so exactly a year before you! In our area, you have to wait three years for IVF on the NHS if you're unexplained, but they fund three cycles.

Clomid did nothing for me either except put me in a bad mood. Fortunately they only made me take it for three months.

    Hello ladies :)

Sorry for the radio silence, been busy at work and then was off working at Glastonbury Festival over the weekend - now trying to catch up with everyone and everything :D

Belated congrats to Derby! :T (going by the BFP list, we must be due for another few graduates to pop soon I reckon?) xx

GTS - when are you hoping for a FET? We're planning to do ours after the summer, it'll probably end up being the end of September or beginning of October. xx

danielley - so sorry to hear your news, it's just utter carp isn't it, everything seems to happen at exactly the same time. Please take care of yourself and your DH xxx

pink - I've had decaf tea for a couple of year now, I ended up having a decaf tea bag completely unawares and then realised when I was told, that it didn't taste any different to normal. I have the Mr T's blue ones as well :D xx

AFM - my clinic have just started doing endo scratches, yay! Spoke to the nurses and they said I fitted the criteria so hopefully I'm having that before doing the FET in the autumn :)

Hugs pink, code and anyone that needs one xxxx

ps. I use MFP as well, please can I add you lovely ladies? (I have no friends :o ) My username is frozenpenguin if anyone wants to add me

ETA: I probably should mention that my 'food diary' looks pretty bad, for example my breakfast this morning was a slice of leftover Dominos pizza...

The joy of MFPing (much like Weight Watchers), is you can eat anything you like so long as you record the calories and stick to your daily limit. :D

Junk food makes it hard to stay within the daily total as it takes up so much of it, but it's allowed.

From a fellow Dominos fan. :D

Absolutely. I've been trying to save a little bit each day this week as I will be having chippy tea tomorrow... oh yes! :)

I'm looking at it weekly rather than daily, so if I'm over tomorrow but ok the rest of the week I'll be counting that as a win.

It's really sad how obsessed I am after a week and a half lol. I really like the idea of having my budget for the day and working how best to spend it... then 'earning' a bit more with exercise. I'm such a sad geek!

That's how it works on Weight Watchers, tea. You get a number of points you can use per day (about 40 IIRC), then you get an extra 49 for use during the week. So, you could add 7 to each day and spread them out, or save them for a big treat. With WW, so long as you stick within the total for the week as a whole, you're fine. You can't eat an apple a day for two months then pig out for three weeks. :D

Since all their research must have proven this approach works, no reason not to do the same on MFP and just keep your average daily cals for the week at the limit, rather than trying to stay within it every single day. That way it's easier to work in some treats/rewards. :)

Seems sensible to me. I've had some lovely, healthy meals this week - lots of fruit and veg, not too much sugar, etc. Tomorrow I will eat those chips absolutely guilt-free and love every single mouthful :)

Off to the gym in a bit to up my balance a bit lol.

Ok... back to the TTC talk ladies, I have distracted you all enough with my MFP obsession.
