Sorry, been on holiday and missed a lot of news. I'm so sorry for everyone whose cycles didn't result in bfps, I'm thinking of you all.

I had my first horrible Clomid symptoms (hot flushes to the point of waking me up). My first cycle on it got to 32 days. I'd reached the point of googling and counting days and trying to decide when to poas, when AF arrived yesterday evening.

Even though Clomid is not recommended for unexplained (which we are), and I've been ovulating fine all these years already, I still got my hopes up. Idiot. Now I feel carp and have to go and spend the weekend with my preggo best mate and her toddler. Great.

I was so sad I even skipped my diet class so don't yet know how bad the holiday was for my weight - gulp!

Sorry to come on and moan, I don't often feel sorry for myself really, but I'm not much of a talker and this place is something of a lifeline. Thank you all. I wish I had more to give but I find it hard to get online much.

virtual love to you all xxxx

*hugs* to you floaty. We're unexplained and all Clomid did was lengthen my cycle. Same as you though, I had my hopes up for it. When you don't know how much it's going to lengthen your cycle you can't help but get your hopes up when AF doesn't arrive. I do feel for you - I had the Clomid night sweats too and it's just grim. :(

I do know someone who is unexplained but got her BFP on Clomid so there's still a chance. How much longer are you on it? x

Moan away Floaty, that's what we are here for (and give permission for cream eggs).

Another unexplained here who was given Clomid, its even against NICE guidelines. I think they just give it us to make us go away for a bit. :(

    *hugs*

Sorry been missing in action, I didn't feel I could contribute much to the thread while they were investigating our missing test results and waiting forever for our next appointment.
Well next appointment is next Thursday, so felt now was the time to come back. And even better hubby has just phoned to confirm the time of the appointment and hallelujah they have only gone and found all of our results! Yippee!!!
So with promises of no more delays we can finally attempt to find out what is going wrong. The only bit I'm scared about is my weight as I've been trying so hard to lose it, I have been eating healthily and doing exercise, and although I have lost some weight, it just isn't going to make any difference.

I had three months worth then had to go back. They had previously talked about then having another three months worth. I went armed with a print-out of the NICE guidelines but fortunately they didn't want us to take any more anyway!

It did give me shocking mood swings. DH is dreading IVF as the moodiness on that is meant to be significantly worse.

Thank you Part Mouse, I know it isn't actually going to get us anywhere as they have already told me that unless I lose weight they can't actually help with anything apart from the tests. But at least that is something.

Thanks all, you are ace you know. We're waiting on our IVF referral so not really stalling with the clomid, but it does feel unnecessary.

Vesper, I know that no one else can ever really help with weight loss, but I'm finding Rosemary Conley classes incredibly good. Sorry if you've already tried it. I know how hard it is xxx
