    You'll love it Isla! :rotfl:

Told my OH last night that I was really looking forward to the GA. He said as we're paying this time maybe they'd let me have another one....I wish!

Think I've had about 6 in total, would happily have lots more.

Isla - mine was also GA not to worry about it's very relaxing.

Last thing I remember was they putting a cannula and after 40 minutes I was waking up in recovery. They have me a pair of white long socks to wear also hospital gown, cap and red hospital slippers on white socks.

If you are worried imagine the above situation it may make you laugh

Isla mine was under sedation only but still backless gown and nil by mouth from midnight - they said it's just so you don't get sick when you wake up. You'll be fine, sedation lovely too :)

Makes me laugh when they tell you to tie them at the back...there's never a tie! Always end up hobbling around trying to hold onto it and preserve a scrap of dignity.

I have to Admit to being envious of the ladies who had sedation and went to sleep! I never do and recall the whole thing!! But as I'm sure I've harped on about a few times my body reacts oddly to some medications and they simply don't behave like they should. I've never been told not to eat though, and never felt sick afterwards. The variations across the country is amazing!
