Thanks for all your kind messages ladies. Unfortunately the vet has confirmed my kitty has a tumour, and there is nothing they can do for him, so it's just a matter of time
My OH's job contract ends in December (week before Christmas!!!) There's a slim chance of it being renewed for a few months, but until they decide whether it will be or not he is on notice! No life to plan of course!!
We need to think about DTD starting from this weekend but not sure either of us will really feel in the mood after this week......:( I'm thinking I might as well give this month up as a bad job already and AF has not quite finished yet! Sorry for bringing the thread down ladies.
Dindong I've been doing cheap OPKs for months. I start about cd 9 or 10. I start off once a day (when I get in from work, or 2pm ish on weekends). I have found that I don't get a second line on every test, although when I do start to get a noticeable second line I do test two or three times a day then. I find my second line could barely be there at 2pm, then if I test again at 6pm, if I'm close to ov it could be a lot more obvious. I always leave them to read the result for at least 10 mins to get a definite reading. I tend to label them and keep them all until I get my positive so I can compare them and convince myself that it is positive.....obsessed, me?!!!?0 -
Hey just to say I find the pink pad app quite user friendly. I like it.
Also, my af's are defo taking a while to get back to normal after coming off the pill, so I truly believe that I may not have gotten pregnant yet no matter how much bding I was doing. This is the first month (month 4) I feel that maybe there is more of a chance as cycles have settled and so has flow. Anyone else feel like this??Save 12k in 2014 (my target: £10 000):
My savings: £4878.54/£7000
Joint account savings: £2685.57/£3000

I'm hoping that the apps are wrong due to basing the calcs on last months 26 day cycle, and my cycles are still lengthening due to coming off the pill in August.
Well I'm hoping that I've not ov'd yet, as my OH hasn't been as accommodating of my increases libido/fertile period as if have liked....I honestly got a 'not tonight dear'!!!:rotfl: on my peak day!!! How unfair is that!!! Hopefully the apps are wrong, and my ov and BD attempts coincide
Hope everyone else is getting on better!!!
Not much better here, ovia said fertile window started yesterday. We did BD but didn't complete the deed if you know what I mean. Tried to not make a big deal about it and not be grumpy but not sure how I got on with that.
Ah well tonight is another night!0 -

Still got this horrible right sided pelvic pain which is getting worse, team that with nausea and it's fun times at Chez Lulu!
Aside from symptom spotting I feel like I'm quite calm this month. Decided I'm not going to test until next Thursday :eek::eek: I don't even have any in the house and I don't intend to buy any until thenOur Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Thank you for everyone's advice on OPK's - I will definitely leave them for longer before throwing in future. CD12 for me today and Ovia says I will be entering my fertile window - I know it will be a complete average guess though as it hasn't got any data to work off....still fingers crossed!0

I found that Ovia got last month's fertility window pretty much bang on even though it had no data to work off - time for some BD for you!
According to Ovia it's Halloween, but that's if my cycle is 28 days. it was 27 days last month so that'd be Thursday. I think I'm 7dpo if I go off CM, 6dpo if I go off the app. I'm going to look at my symptoms I entered this time last cycle to see if I have any similar, although I did have a horrible cold last time!
Not sure what to do about drinking this weekend. I'm going out for a meal to celebrate my sister's engagement tomorrow then we're going to the pub for a celebration with all of our friends. For the meal, I can drink soft drinks no bother. When I'm at the pub it's always majorly obvious when I don't drink. I had a coke last time and people were suspicious even though I wasn't pg!
I don't want to give the game away nor do I want to drink if I am pg, what do I do?

Well my temp rose this morning, according to FF I need it to stay high to conform ov happened yesterday. Also FF shared a lovely tidbit with me today, that the best days to fall pregnant is to BD the 2 days prior to O and the day of. The percentage of catching is significantly higher than any other day. So 3 days is all you get
so not holding much hope for this cycle as we didn't BD on the critical days! It really goes against everything you at taught at school / young age about getting pregnant !
I find it all quite amazing0 -

I'm in camp 'drink 'til it's pink' although everyone is different. For me, if I start to alter my lifestyle pre BFP it just becomes too intense & I'd spend 2 weeks of every month living in weird limbo. I personally won't put my life on hold, but everyone is differentAny potential little bean wouldn't be taking on your blood at that point, so from a biological perspective I'd say you're fine. Having said that, I don't get trollied in the TWW!

Excellent logic there - I've only had about 4 drinks this month anyway so might go for a cheeky bottle of wine! (obviously spread across the evening and probably shared with a skint friend) My local pub sells these amazing fruit wines. We all used to go after work on a Monday, about 12 of us, and us girls would drink loads of it! This was before any potential babies!
But you're right, very early on I know it's fine as long as you don't drink when you've found out!Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016
