Like the sound of the 2WW plan, I am going to be a mess considering how impatient I am just waiting for ov! Haha!

    Jazz
Glad things are doing well with you :)

    Blueneleh
Wouldn't it be lovely to be on maternity with your best friend! Does she live locally?

    Bobley
Good luck for you for Friday - 3 more sleeps :)

    Skaps
Don't be disheartened - at least you're getting some answers and solutions too. My auntie was just about to start IVF and they did a scan to check everything was ok and turned out she was already pregnant after years of trying. Good luck :)

I would love to have a regular cycle I could at least monitor! Not only is mine totally random but I've lost all the data on my app from keeping track for the last 7 months! - Back to square one!

    Lulu
How are you at the moment? Hope your OH is holding out ok :) When will you be planning to test this month?

Usual scattering of baby dust :) xxxxx

Thanks for thinking of me dingdongavoncalling :)

We're much better than we were this time last week. Managed to DTD 4 times since Wednesday which for us is A LOT not for lack of trying! DTD about an hour ago and I feel like I could go again! :rotfl:

I'm not sure really. AF is due around halloween but I might just play it by ear and test if she's not arrived by then.

Have you been using opks yet?

  • I've said the same Bobley, what will be will be. I hate cliches, but time will tell.

Amazing about your friend Blueneleh, here's hoping you get your wish too!

Great new jazz - look after yourself & bubba!! Fingers crossed for a sticky bean x

dingdongavoncalling - the 2ww plan came from a Pinterest marathon - everything baby & pregnancy connected :-) After this months experience - i'll give anything a go!

Hope you're all safely tucked up at home out of this dreadful weather xx

Yes -opk 3 days on the trot, it's only early in my cycle but as I have no idea how long my cycle will be I don't want to miss it and just bought a bulk pack cheap on ebay. Can't wait to ov and get DTD! :D

Dingdong- I feel your pain on the odd cycles, I thought I knew where are I was until last month. Stupid hormones.
I think you're doing the best thing with the OPKs, plus as they aren't fancy ones it's not too much of a hit money wise if you have to use a lot on a long cycle.
I nearly forgot to hold my wee in today and then the OPK was negative anyway. Only day 11 so no bother, I will be dancing round the bathroom when I see two lines.

I work in sexual health so spend the whole day talking about how to prevent pregnancy so it's nice to come on here and talk TTC!

Blueneleh- fingers crossed you get your BFP soon so that you and your friend can be preggo together. That would be amaze balls!

Aw I'm glad I'm not the only one excited for a positive OPK let alone HPT haha! Will be great to know I definitely AM ovulating after so long on the pill!

I know what you mean, me and my DH are childhood sweethearts and have spent years panicking with odd cycles and doing HPT's desperate for a negative, it's strange now to be the complete opposite!!

  • Morning all.

I think 4dpo is a bit early for pregnancy symptoms Lulu as implantation doesn't normally happen until at least 5dpo but Fx that statistic is wrong!

AFM I'm feeling crappy today. My OH has been given notice of redundancy in work and my cat is not very well. He had bloods done on Monday and they think he might have a tumour :( He's got to go to the vets today for more tests :( Not sure how much more bad news I can cope with.....don't they say things come in 3s?!!

Oh dear snapping, not a good time at all! How long is OH's notice?

I really hope your cat is okay *hugs* Keep us updated x x

My cousin is giving away a kitten and I really want it but OH won't let me have it. He doesn't like cats () and also I don't think he wants to put me through what happened with my dog. He did tell me that we are looking after his parents' dog in December so I'm really excited for that!

Got OH to put some Voltarol on my back last night but he is useless at massaging it into the skin, he was just moving it around with one finger so it felt like he was poking me!

I have no idea when I ovulated last week (going off CM it was either Wednesday or Thursday) so I'm not sure what means what. All I do know is I don't think my nipples have ever been this painful!

I should tell you to stop symptom spotting but that would make me a terrible hypocrite!
