    Hello everyone.
Welcome to Claire and janed. I hope your stay is short.
Thank you for the lists kellykins. It is much appreciated.
Thinkpink, I don't know anything about PCOS but from the other posts it would seem getting a BFP is still a strong probability but hugs anyway. It must be difficult news to receive.
Snapping crocodile, how did you get on?
Feeling down today as it would have been my due date. I am determined to get out later and not wallow. So upset with OH, however. He has forgotten. I understand most men don't think about significant dates etc. but it still really hurts. Just some kind of acknowledgement would have been nice. X

That is really hard looba. I will be dreading my due date when it comes . Hope your oh remembers . Big hugs xx

I had a bit of a bad day yesterday as found out on Facebook that my sil is pregnant. Was a bit if a shock to find out like that. Turns out she had told my oh but he just hadn't told me yet. Feeling a bit better about it today, just hard to see it with people close to me.

Hope your appointment went ok snapping crocodile .

Thank you both. I've been for coffee with a friend but I didn't mention anythi g. I didn't want our conversation to only be about me IYSWIM. It was nice just to chat.
I don't know if there is anything I really want to do. I would like if anything to try and do something positive. I don't want to dwell on what could have been and end up drinking a glass of wine too many this evening. That would have been my original plan.
I'm glad you're feeling a bit better wendz. It must have been a shock finding out like that. X

sorry you're feeling down Looba, like wendz I'm dreading what would have been my due date too but luckily I will be on holiday at the time so hopefully distracted. it's still going to be a tough day though.
I'd have the glass of wine tonight if I were you.

It's good to meet up with friends and of course you shouldn't feel at all pressured to mention it to anyone if you don't feel it's appropriate at that time for whatever reason.

I'm sure other people may have their own suggestions but things to do might be:

    (1) Visit the beach/river and scatter some rose petals (or similar)
    (2) Have a "special" bath with candles and music
    (3) Write a letter to the baby
    (4) Name a star after the baby (officially or unofficially!)
    (5) Make a promise to yourself to do something or stop doing something (commit to some "you" time each week/month; buy flowers for yourself etc)

They may be nothing that you would ever consider so apologies if they're not suitable. I just thought it might give you some ideas as to what you could do - if you wanted. Of course, I'm sure it's fine if you don't do anything either!

    Hi

Hugs to those who need one and to those finding things difficult at the moment.

Have my blood test on Monday- have to be brave and go on my own- I really hate needles!! But then at least once I've had that I can then get some definite answers as to whether it is PCOS. I know that lots of people with PCOS do get pregnant, but as I've only have three periods in the last year I do have a feeling it will take a while and I may need a bit of help ovulating.
