Hugs ttc. Why do out bodies have to be be so cruel and have to play tricks on us.

Had my scan, need to wait for my blood test results but the lady has indicated she thinks I have pcos!! Have to admit I had a little cry when I got home after the appointment as I think its just made me aware this could take a long time, if it happens at all. Guess its just a case of waiting for the blood test results though before I know for sure. :(

Thinkpink, hope you don't mind me coming back here to give you a hug. It sucks. But at least you have an idea of what's going on and they'll know how to treat you going forward. Plenty of women with pcos go on to get pregnant and there's no reason to believe you won't be one of them.

So I'm on CD26, 8DPO but pretty sure I'm out this month. Got really sore boobs which is a definite sign that AF is on her way. Normally have a 31/32 day cycle and this normally starts around a week before so can't see this month being any different...boo!

Thank you. How are you doing?

Im just hoping that as its hopefully going to be diagnosed they can get things moving with regards to giving me something to help my cycles as they are so irregular.

How typical though that a friend asked me today when I'm going to start a family, I just did my usual 'oh not yet, in a few years probably'!!

Hugs Think Pink x I admit I don't know much about PCOS but hopefully a diagnosis will lead to treatment for you.

Hugs to you too TTC, hope the tooth isn't too painful.

Cd1 for me tomorrow I think, have been spotting today. Had got my hopes up this month too. DHs results all came back fine although one was a touch low (can't remember if I have already said so apologies if I'm boring on!) so just waiting for our hosp referral now - does anyone have an idea of how long this usually takes? I'm guessing it will be a while.

Welcome Sparkle, we are the same age :-) Hope your stay here is short. X

Hope you're doing ok too Code x

  • Hugs thinkpink. It's not impossible to get pregnant with pcos. My cousin had a baby last year and she has it. As you say, if you get the definite diagnosis hopefully treatment will sort out your cycles for you. It's hard to think positive when the news is so new but knowing about it, and having treatment, is always better than not knowing :o

Hugs to shrimpy and ttc39. Sorry this wasn't your month.

AFM I've got my first consultant appointment tomorrow about my newly diagnosed hyperthyroidism. Nervous but also looking forward to it, in the vein hope that treatment will make me ovulate and give me my BFP immediately! Me, impatient.....never!! Although I know I'm clutching at straws! I've got a suspicion the consultant will tell us we need to stop TTC until my thyroid is stabilised, which will break my heart as, like all you lovely ladies, I am so desperate to hold my own baby :(
