Hi all, back again after a little absence. Whilst I would love to come and chat more regularly I've been trying hard not to obsess about ttc (including not charting or symptom spotting - so far so good!) so that's also meant I've been keeping my distance from this thread. I have to say though, I'm sad that there haven't been any more BFP's for July! Looks like a few are in their 2WW so fingers crossed!

As for me, I have absolutely nothing to report. I'm on CD37 which is close to the length of my shortest cycle, but seeing as my last one was over 50 days I'm just going to hold out and see. This cycle I've taken AC and EPO - stopped around the time I thought I OV'd which was around 2 weeks ago, although can't be sure as I didn't test - and I've also been taking Pregnacare. I forgot to take the Pregnacare the last week though, which just goes to show how little I have thought about ttc!! We've not BD'd very much at all this cycle as we've both been so busy, so whilst my mind has been kept busy with non-ttc things, I'm still not hopeful that this is the month. Surprisingly, I don't feel as upset about this as I have in the past! I think we've both taken the attitude of 'It will happen when it happens', however we shall see how long that lasts!

Missymoo - glad you are OK and i think sometimes it does get a bit too obsessive so sounds like you are doing the right thing.

Still feeling a bit in limbo here as haven't had af yet after miscarriage but from what I have read it can be 6-8 weeks after and only at 4 weeks at the moment. We haven't been preventing so of course i will have that little bit of hope. At least if it does arrive i will know where i am a bit more.

OH and I seem to be playing the "If, but" game ALL the time. I want to apply for another job.. but, if I was pregnant my conscience wouldn't let me.... but then I might not be any time soon - or should I just wait and see.... (not that there's anything around at the moment that interests me). Booking a holiday for next year, well yes but we can't book such-and-such because maybe.., but maybe not......

It all gets very silly!

Oh well, have an ice-cream on me! (or home-made milkshake mmm!)

Hello everyone. I hope everyone is having a good weekend. There has just been a massive downpour here but I feel smug in the knowledge I have already brought in my washing!
Thank you for the messages janed and Aunty pickle. I really appreciate it. In the end I didn't really do anything other than take some time for myself and find some peace. To be honest with you I think the anticipation was much worse than the day itself. It's as if I can move on now, if that makes any sense. I had a lovely dinner and yes I did have that wine! I also bought a lovely bunch of white roses which are on my fireplace. I was very disappointed in OH who completely forgot about it though. His reasoning is that he didn't want to dwell on something that never was. I suppose upsetting though it was for me that he didn't seem bothered we all have our different ways of dealing with things like this.
Missymoo, it's lovely to see you back. I think we all understand how easy it is to get obsessive about TTC.

Jazz25, I'm sorry I don't have any experience but I'm sure someone will be able to answer your question and no, none of this is fair.

Aunty pickle, not my favourite game either but I play it an awful lot. If you don't mind I will pass on the ice cream and hastily finish my bottle of wine. Just one glass of ice cold chardonnay. :-)
