Finally, thanks for your info about the AC and EPO kellykins. I seem to be reading up so much about it and overall it sounds a positive thing, especially as my cycles have been longer than 28 days, so it's worth a shot. My delivery arrived yesterday and I've decided to take 2000mg of each, 1 tab twice a day. According to FF my fertile window is for the next two weeks (!) so I think I'll take them for a few more days then stop, just to be safe. Some must be better than nothing at all! I have read that many people continue to take it and having no problems, but it seems a higher proportion of people stop at OV. We'll see how it goes


This month - well, the next two weeks - I'll be looking to BD often and we'll just see how it goes. If a BFN, I may get some OPK's for June as that will be 6 months ttc, and then perhaps I'll be able to narrow down that fertile window!

I think I've got caught up in the madness of it all and its only been one month!
Ive been using OPK's for a couple of months to track my cycles but not managing very well. I keep getting very dark lines one day then light the next and cant seem to pinpoint when I ovulate.

Had some spotting today so AF probably on her way this weekend. Good timing I guess as I'm away the best part of the next week with work. Hooray.

After a pig out fest with the husband tonight I have decided I am going to take control and try and lose some more weight, get down from a bmi of 26 to a 24 at least.

Welcome Lindsay - I started OPKs this month and found the same as you. Mine say to do between 10am and 8pm, but I work in a small office so couldn't get away with doing them at work, so I can only ever test around 7pm. Plus I always drink loads of water and found it hard to limit myself, so think that might have caused some of the lines to be fainter. Would be interested to hear from anyone else too though? Wishing you a speedy BFP!

I am on a mission to lose some weight though!! Ive creeped up to size 14 now and really don't want to buy a whole new wardrobe- plus my BMI has creeped up so I want to get that down as well. Im hoping losing some weight may also help my with my cycles.

Hell everyone.

Having a bit of a rubbish time here, had 3 follicle scans in a week, day 8 to day 15, follicle went from 8mm to 11mm & hen stayed the same on the last scan yesterday. They said tho can happen on Clomid, just blip month that doesn't work, gotta wait for AF, but if it doesn't turn up by day 30-35 they'll give me norethestrone to induce a bleed & then start again still on 50mg per day. They didn't want to up it as I responded so well the 1st month. Hate all the waiting!

Hope everyone is ok, I'm off work for a week now, going to Edinburgh for a few days with hubby so that'll be nice. xx

Hello everyone.
The weather is a bit rubbish today so I'm going to make the most of it and catch up on my massive ironing pile.
AF hasn't shown her face yet but definitely on the way. My mood has been foul and I have some low down aching this morning. Just wish she would hurry up and I can get on with the next cycle.
I've been a bit low about TTC this last week, I've been forgetting to take my folic acid and last night drank a little too much alcohol. I'm going to try and be a bit more positive. I need to eat healthier, drink more water and take my vitamins. I think I might start running again. I haven't done a lot of exercise for a long time now and to be honest it's starting to show. It can only help.
