Congratulations Aircooled. Fantastic news to start the month :j
Hugs for CD1's and for long cycles, I feel your pain. My cycles were LNG last year. Fx mine have settled-ish now, hope yours do soon thinkpink and sulphate.
Welcome to the crazily addictive world if TTC cottage retreatist. Hope your stay is short:D
AFM I'm currently CD8 so need to crack on with DTD
Thanks for doing the lists kellykins. please could I guess 3BFPs for May?. I'm thinking a bumper month is usually followed by a quiet one?!!0 -
I had a Drs appointment booked but its not till 19th May. But I'm hoping he may at least maybe send me for some tests- I guess I am worried I may have something like PCOS as I have never been regular and that was one of the reasons I went on the pill.
Sulphate- can you see any improvement in your cycles at all? I came off the pill last August and have had a 100 day cycle then a 43 day cycle now I'm cd 102! I did think when I had the 43 cycle that they were going to improve but then this cycle has completely thrown that hope out the window!!0 -

Hope you're all enjoying the weekend, the weather isn't too great here but at least it isn't raining
Congrats to you BFP ladies!
Well, I have a little news of my own, although I'm too scared to say it out loud!!
I got a BFP on Friday! 1-2 weeks on a Clearblue digital. I don't know what to make of it, it could be the menopause given my agegoing to the Drs on Tuesday as due to last year we can have an early viability scan.
We'll see what happens x

Hi please can I join? I am moving over from the waiting ttc thread. We were waiting for me to get a promotion at work (which hasn't happened yet) and to get married in June.
We decided that life is too short to wait, as a few of our friends have sadly had bad news over the last few weeks.
We are so excited to start our ttc journey!! I need to get to grips with the abbreviations etc!

hehe! i am still getting to grips with it all too footiemad! hello from another recent graduate from waiting to TTC!!

Hi thinkpink. I actually think my cycles are getting more irregular although I don't think they were ever 100 days. Came off pill last June, 6 weeks later in August AF arrived. Was pleasantly surprised as expected it to be much longer (have had a pill free period before and had 5 months AF free). Then had somewhat normal cycles Sept & Oct and then nothing til late Dec. Can't remember all my cycle lengths but I think AF has shown up twice so far this year. My last 2 cycles were 35 & 39 days so I thought yay some normality!! Obvs not. My Fertility friend app is getting v confused. At least I'm saving money on tampons...
I'm soooo glad I didn't wait any longer to come off the pill - we were going to start trying in Sept but decided not to and changed our minds and started at Christmas anyway. I was always regular before going on the pill but the last time I was off it for any length of time was before I ever went on it and that was 9 years ago.
I read this:
http://m.deliciousliving.com/health/natural-ways-regulate-your-menstrual-cycle?page=2
No idea if there's any truth in it but am trying to de-stress, improve my diet etc as I am trying to lose weight anyway (although lost a stone since Christmas and hasn't helped!) and eat better (she says after just devouring a whole packet of Minstrels). Also bought some pregnacare vits, will try and sleep more (again, she says still up at 11pm).
I just feel really demotivated about TTCing cos of it, I just think well what's the point, I can't be ovulating regularly!
I hope you get some answers at your Dr's appointment x
Footiemad - I was on the waiting TTC thread for not very long eitherCan you tell I don't believe in waiting?! Welcome to the thread x
Princess kate - I hope you are ok x
Oh, and nearly forgot to mention that I had a dream that I got a BFP last night. Waking up to a depressing rainy morning after a bank holiday weekend just didn't set me up very well for the rest of the day after that !!
Wow sorry for long post - no one knows we are TTCing so don't have anyone to talk to about it apart from husband and we decided we weren't going to talk about TTCing too much because it was becoming stressful. (already :rotfl:)0
