Sulphate you sound in a similar position to me. I too was on the pill for about 9 years, stopped at Xmas and also had just 2 AF's this year. Ie not been temping or charting so no idea when or if I've ovulated, however I did get strange cramp type sensations around the time FF predicted OV to be.

I've just been trying to DTD every other day where possible (harder than I thought it would be!) and I've also just bought some Agnus Castus and Evening Primrose Oil as I've read positive things about them regulating cycles and increasing EWCM (of which I've had none!) I'm still not 100% convinced with Agnus Castus yet so it may leave that for a while, but I'm hoping to start on the EPO when it arrives in the post!

Whilst we've only been trying for 4 months, I feel like I've only really had 2 chances due to my messed up cycles!

Welcome to Cottage_retreatist and footiemad. Cottage, I remember you from the DFW baking thread that was going on last year. I don't really post in DFW that much anymore so it's great to see you!

Kelly - Thanks for the lists but you have me a couple of days behind today I am 9DPO. Thanks very much!

AFM - Nothing to report really. I've managed to not poas and I'm also not overly obsessing about symptons, CM, and cervical position. I think it's because I'm already pretty sure we are out as I think we might have BD a couple of days too early. FF says I Ov'd 12/05 because I got a +ve OPK the day before but I could have OV'd 13/05 taking into account that OV can happen 12 - 36 hours after the +ve. We BD 10/05, 11/05 & 12/05 so I'm not massively confident. We also BD for fun a few times in the last week which has been nice. We're normally total pandas and it seems that ttc has somewhat reinvigorated our sex drives which is a happy side effect.

Other than that I am just absolutely swamped with college work for my HNC. Everything has to be handed in on the 20th of this month. Two years gone so quickly and I feel like I still have everything to do!!!!

Nothing exciting is happening in our world. I start a new job at the end of month which im really excited about. Its less hours and a 5 min walk to work instead of a 45 min drive.


I got my stone award at SW last night, so im only 7lbs away from the elusive 29bmi which the gynne consultant said I would be classed as normal at.


Sulphate - That was an interesting article especially the bending forward part, I will give that a try. My sleeping is rubbish due to shift work, but on my nights off I do try and go to bed at 10pm.

Hi all, little late coming in with this lol but hope everyone had a great weekend ..only just recovering from our weekend away, started OPKs and agnus castus this month so we'll see how that fares..

hi ladies...

cant remember who asked, but i used angus castus and epo this month.... after several months of getting no peak on my CBFM - This month i did! so i will be taking them both again next month - i also had sore boobs after ovulation so i really think it did help me. it hasnt shortened my cycle though.

Thinkpink - I went a whole year after coming off the pill with no period at all! i wasnt TTC at the time - but just so you know youre not alone in this .. ..its so frustrating.

Im out this month - we didnt try at all.. got a holiday in 2 weeks and i feel i need to really relax and get back on the TTC wagon on our return.

Im away this weekend - heading to Edinburgh on a hen weekend, so i wont be able to post the lists tomorrow or sat - im happy for someone else to post them though if you like.
