Hey All
Finally moving across here. I did previously post a little in the Waiting to Try thread, but there wasn't really much to say...
My husband and I are TTC #1 and like a lot of people on here, we are both super excited and super nervous!
We have both been taking vitamins etc for a few months, and we are finally ready to officially Try
Today is CD9 and also my birthday so we decided it was as good a day as anyI have been taking temps etc for a few months, my cycles are fairly straightforward, 27-28 days so hopefully that won't be an issue. Right now we are going to focus on BD-ing every couple of days. I'm not peeing on sticks etc yet, don't want to get too bogged down too early on as we are both aware this could take some time!
Good luck to everyone trying this month and onwardsxx

I know how you feel.. if i hadnt had first mc id have given birth 1st april and if not had the 2nd id be about 14 weeks :-(
*Huge hugs*
The following is for everyone:
One thing that I've mentioned over on the miscarriage thread - I take a low dose aspirin daily with my ttc/prenatal vitamins. *NOTE: speak to your GP BEFORE you start an aspirin regimen* I would recommend it as an easy safeguard against blood clots - which is what caused us to lose our daughter. Again, speak to your GP first, but with as cheap as they are, if you can take them and your GP approves, it's very cheap insurance and can help keep a pregnancy going. I'll be on them for the rest of my life, even after my baby making days are over, since we discovered that I actually have a clotting disorder, but it is well worth it.0 -

Read a snippet of "how to take charge of your fertility" book in waterstones today which said some women can take some months or even years to get back to normal after the pill. Considering buying said book on kindle.
It's when I read things like this that I wish I came off the pill sooner! Although, it's sods law that had I done that we would have fallen pregnant when we weren't ready! That's what I tell myself anyways to make myself feel better
Welcome Paige, hopefully you're not here for too long0 -
Hi all.
Thank you for the lists kellykins. I'm pleased you had a good weekend.
Welcome Paige.
As for me CD35!!! What is going on? I have now had the tiniest bit of brown CM so hopefully something should happen soon. I'm so impatient now.
I managed to go for a short run last night so felt a lot better for it. I am really out of shape and feel it. I must try and keep it up now. I could do with losing a little weight and taking more care of myself. I've let myself go a bit. Todays mission, pluck eyebrows and another run. Two little things to make me feel better about myself.
I hope everyone has a good day.0 -
hi all - kellykins im 2dpo today, i tried using OPKs this month and it timed pretty well with cm so I'm hoping it was spot on. We were at in-laws again this weekend but DH said after last month he's not gonna give me the chance to moan at him the rest of the month so we did twice during ovulation. Would have liked to get a 3rd in but after last month can't complain! We'll see how it goes this month
Also have my scan booked for start of june to see why I'm having cramps throughout the second half of my cycle so lots going on!
Congrats to any bfps i might have missed? (didn't see any at a quick glance!)We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.
