Yuk......I've had a sickness bug since Friday.
feeling better today so we popped into town, the boys spent some of their birthday money and I spent £12 in the pound shop, £1.05 in boots and I also bought the boys some lunch out.
Tomorrow we are at a friends for the day so it should be a NSD.
Oh I also bought the boys their new pencil cases for September. I'm thinking of buying little bits each time we go into town, that way it won't feel like such a big spend out on things.
Went to tesco yesterday and spent £77.46 on the weekly shop.
Anyway nothing much else to report........0 -
Afternoon
We have spent the day with friends today and managed a NSD! :T
Probably going to have a quick meal of chicken kievs and chips tonight as everyone is worn out.
I want to dye my hair again so will probably head out to the shop tomorrow to pick up some hair dye (cheaper then gong to the hairdressers I suppose!)0 -
Evening diary,
Been out with friends again today and had some lunch out. Spent about £15 so not to bad as it fed 4 of us.
Off out to a fun day tomorrow but I will be taking lunch for the boys so hoping for a LSD. I need to check my bank account online tonight and transfer ds3's DLA money into his account.
I still have to order boys uniforms and finish off getting stationary for school, I also have to pay ds2's swimming fees at the beginning of September which is £80 for the term. I have saved about £40 at the moment by taking money out of my account and saving it in an envelope. Not much but better then nothing!!
Hubby is out for the evening so I'm going to have a shower in a min then sort the little one out ready got bed.0 -
Well it's the start of another week already.....where are these school holidays going!!
I went out Saturday night for my friends hen party, I spent £12 the whole night! :money:
Needless to say yesterday was a right off really! I did make hubby order us a pizza (he didn't put up much of a fight!) but we had a 50% off voucher so didn't bed up spending much. It was very yummy and much needed so I'm not going to beat myself up about it.
I have a small delivery coming from asda tonight, just a stock up on nappies and some snacky food really. Came to £27 and it cost £1 for delivery so again not too much. Today we are off for a train ride round our local country park which ds3 loves! We will pop into their cafe afterwards and grab a drink.
I'm hoping to bad able to get out within the next hour, kids are all dressed and fed and I'm gradually getting three with the house work
just need to wait for the washing machine to finish its job then I can hang it out and get going.
Going to pay another £50 to my credit card today so it will now be down to £950. :T0 -
Evening
I decided to pay £100 to the debt so it's now down to £900!
I've been into town today and bought the boys some bits for school, mainly a water bottle and stationary. Just need to get ds1 some trousers, both need jogging bottoms and trainers. Think we are sorted after that.
This afternoon we went to the woods then to the park is a nice free afternoon of fun! Kids are worn out now so hoping for a bit of a lie in in the morning.
Tomorrow we have speech and language for ds3 and also his key worker is coming out to write a progress report so we probably won't be going far.0 -
We have had a very busy week and spent far to much money!

Today will be a NSD though as we are having a day indoors. I've managed to get 2 loads of washing washed but because the weather is rubbish it takes ages to dry on the airers indoors (I'm trying not to use my tumble dryer so much) also cleaned the bathroom , polished and hoovered throughout.
Not long until the kids go back to school so I'm adding to a mr A order to be delivered Tuesday morning every time I remember something for their lunches! We have all the back to school stuff now (just waiting for uniform to be delivered but it's been paid for) I'm not sure how much extra I will be able to pay off the debt as payday was a week ago and the bank account is looking pretty !!!! already!! I'm hoping that I can rein it in a bit and we will be ok.0 -
Have managed a no spend weekend! Mainly because the kids have had a sickened bug so we haven't left the house.
Tomorrow I need to buy my niece a birthday card and presents and on Tuesday in having some shopping delivered ready for the kids lunches when they go back to school on Wednesday, spent £46 but we still have sone meet in the freezer so hoping that will last us this week.0 -
Forgot to add I have saved £65 for ds2's swimming which starts Thursday. I looked at the form and it's only £72 for this term so I'm really close now :T
Also I've literally only just realised I haven't got ds1 his school trousers yet so will grab them tomorrow also.0 -
Evening
I can't believe the boys are back at school tomorrow.:o
I bought ds1 his new school trousers yesterday and aldi picked up birthday presents for my niece and nephew who's birthdays are this month. Today we went out for breakfast (last treat before school starts) and ds2 had a hair cut. Spent £22.54 altogether.
Kids are now in bed and Lunchboxes and water bottles are ready and in the fridge
The boys have just started going to the park (about a 1 min walk away) on their own now so I'm hoping they make some friends round our estate to play with after school. They have a an £8 mobile I bought them so I can get hold of them when they are out but they keep ringing me to see what is for dinner and therefor wasting their credit! Think I'll have to sit them down and explain to them that it's for emergencies! :rotfl:0 -
Well today didn't go to plan! Ds2 was sick throughout the night so he is off school today.
I popped to the shop this morning whilst DH was here and picked up 2 peppers to go with tonight's dinner, fabric softener and cheese biscuits. Spent £3.69. I won't be going out again today until I pick ds1 up from school so at least it will just be a low spend day today.
I am on my third load of washing now so need to hang that out in a min then once the duvet is dry I can remake ds2's bed. He's currently led in bed watching DVDs so at least I can get on with the washing!0
