Hi
Ds3 is 2 and a half
I'm hoping to have the debt paid off by Christmas, if I don't manage to clear it by then (obviously very expensive time if year!) then we have 2 months break for council tax payments so January's pay day should clear the last of it.
We managed to get to the park which was nice
the weather is rubbish here today though so we have had to cancel our plans this afternoon. Bit do a shame but ds3 is at preschool this morning so at least he's been able to burn off a bit of energy.
We are going to make some cup cakes and cookies this afternoon instead, not good for me when I'm on a diet but the kids will enjoy them!
Debt now down to £700 (£100 paid off) :j I need to pick up some veggies for dinner tonight so should only be a small spend day.
I hung the washing on the line this morning and the heavens opened so had to run back out to fetch it all in again. its now drying on the airer....I'm doing really well with not using the tumble dryer, I just have to make sure I keep on top of the washing so I have enough drying space. :money:0 -
Morning diary
Online shopping is being delivered today I think I spent around £55 but I'll double check when it gets here, luckily we have lots of meat in the freezer which we bought from the local butcher a couple of weeks ago so didn't have to buy any this week.
Taking the boys out for dinner after school with a friend and her daughter but I have money in my purse for that, I'm hoping not to have to touch my account for the rest of the week, I have £40 in my purse for dinner tonight, tomorrow im meeting a friend for a coffee and Friday ds3 and I are off to the soft play centre. Fingers crossed I can make it last! We don't need petrol this week so that's a bonus.0 -
Morning
Found another £20 in my purse after my last post! So I spent £12 in McDonald's and £8 in Costa with my friend yesterday. I still have £40 in my purse so super happy! I'm planning on a NSD today, ds3 is at preschool this morning so I will spend that time cleaning then this afternoon we may pop to the local park if he isn't to tired.
Washing has just finished so I'm going to hang that on the line and I also need to Hoover upstairs/downstairs and polish.
Swimming with ds2 straight after school so dinner tonight will be a stir fry, quick and easy!
Oh and I've managed to get back to 10st 11 after creeping back over 11st last month!
only another 11lb until I'm at my target weight.

Afternoon diary,
Spent £4.10 yesterday taking ds3 to soft play.
I now have £35 in my purse still. Today I've managed to get all the washing washed and hung on airers and we've been to my friends little ones birthday party. The kids ate lunch there so that saved a few pennies!! I think we are staying in for the rest of the day so it should be a NSD.
Not sure what plans we have for tomorrow yet, I expect it will depend on the weather.0 -
I've spent the evening writing down when each direct debit is due and worked out that after they all come out this month I should have £372.41 left. This has to last until the 23rd October so 18 days away which equals just over £20 a day. I will need to do food shopping and it's my ds1's birthday next weekend too so I will need to buy extra bits eg: cake, balloons, presents. I'm going to try and pay another £100 off the debt before payday so that will take me down to £272.41, I will then have £600 left to pay so if I continue to pay back £200 a month I will be debt free 23rd December 2014! Just in time for Christmas :j I really want to start the new year off debt free and make a start on a savings fund. January and February are council tax free months so that could potentially be at least £252 in my savings account by the end of February as council tax is £126 a month.
Sorry for the ramble but had to get my thoughts out!0 -
Back again!! Just paid £100 to the debt so now down to £600. :T0

Today has been quite a productive day, I've cleaned the house from top to bottom and been into town to pick up bits for ds1's birthday next week. I also picked up a Yankee candle burner and some Yankee candle tarts, the house is smelling lovely at the moment. I usually buy the large jars but though I would try the tea light burner as I've heard really good reviews about them and it was only £7 and the tarts are £1 each.
Rang sky about our package and they have dropped the price from £33 a month to £27 a month for 12 months!! :money: really pleased with that price and saving.
We are having chilli and brown rice for dinner this evening, I can't believe how much money we have saved by not ordering a takeaway 3-4 times a week  oh and I'm now down to 10st 9lb so getting closer to my goal weight :T0 -
Just ordered a food shop online as I had a £20 off voucher when you spend over £60 at MrS. I spent £60.40 so one delivery charge was added it the total cost was £42.40
the shop will be delivered Wednesday afternoon. I'm so pleased with my savings today!
So money left in account after bills: £230.01 to last until 23rd October.0 -
Morning diary (just!)
Another productive morning here, I've washed all the net curtains and hung them all back up and managed to finish all my daily cleaning jobs too. We are staying in today as the weather is nasty outside.
Spent £9.95 today on yankee candle tarts for my burner
I've ordered 10 and it was free shipping so not too bad! They should last me a while.....well that's the plan anyway!
Hubby needs to renew his passport so if he rings me today I will ask him if he wants to apply online or if I need to go to the post office to pick him up a form. Fingers crossed he will fill it in online!
Hoping to have at least 3 NSD's for the rest of the week.
Total left in bank after bills: £220.060
