Good Morning New Me,
Just caught up on your diary. You are doing soooo well with the debt busting and keeping focused, well done you!!!
Did DH ever fill out the online passport form? Im only asking because I my friend filled out some kind of passport form online a while back and it turned out not to be the right one and she was charged about £70 for it not to be right!! Id stick to the good old fashioned forms if not just incase.

Mummy xx
I've literally just been reading the updates on your diary then come over to mine to find your message.
No he still hasn't filled in the form. He needs to hurry up but I give up nagging him!
that's rubbish your friend was charged that amount of money when it was the wrong form.
Managed a nsd today, my brother and sil came round with my niece and treated all the kids to pizza for ds1's birthday! They all had a really nice day and it didn't cost hubby and I a penny. :money:
Tomorrow I will need to grab some shampoo and conditioner so will pop into home bargains after toddler group in the morning. I'm trying to hold off food shopping fo as long as possible as I don't want to buy loads of lunchbox bits when they finish school for half term in a couple of weeks.0 -
I completelyforgot to add I paid another £50 off the debt yesterday so now down to £5500

Well done to the extra payment and NSD. You are doing so well xxMummytogirls x0

Thanks mummytogirls, it feels like I'm getting so close to becoming debt free now I want to try to have as many nsd's as possible.
Today we went to home bargains after toddler group and spent £19.56 I bought shampoo, conditioner, body spray, batteries, new fragrance plug in thingy!, some Christmas decs and a bath book for ds3 oh and a large twig heart decoration for our lounge.
I've counted the rest of the money in my purse and I'm down to £130 im hoping with a few nsd's this week I can make it last the 10 days before pay day.0 -
Morning diary,
Ds3 is not feeling well today, last night he was very quiet and just led on the sofa so I think he must have a bit of a bug. I was hoping my food shopping would last a bit longer then it has but I think I'm going to have to cave and go to the shop as we are running low on essentials. I need to pick up juice, bread, nappies, potatoes and yogurts and fruit. Not too much so hopefully can keep the cost down.
I don't want to spend a lot now as I still have a decent amount left in my bank so I'm hoping if im strict with the money I can pay off another £100 next week before payday on Thursday (23rd) then on payday I can pay another £100 straight off. Fingers crossed I can get the total debt down to £350 by the end of next week.
I'd be sooooo happy with that!! 0 -
I must of looked at my bank wrong this morning as I don't have as much as I first thought.
hoping to still pay off another £50 before payday but not hopeful I can pay £100.
Just got back from our local T express and decided to just buy the absolute essentials to try and get me as far as possible before I do a full shop. I picked up a pack of apples, yogurts for ds3, yogurts for the boys lunchboxes, orange squash and potatoes. Completely forgot the bread so I'll grab that before I pick up the boys this afternoon. Spent 6.47 so not too bad. I should have enough nappies to get me through to the end of the weekend so they aren't an emergency buy. Mr T has an offer on at the moment so I'll probably grab the nappies when I'm in town tomorrow as I have an eye test.0 -
Afternoon diary
Just got back from soft play with ds3.
Spent £21.36 today, popped into Mr T's to pick up some nappies and also had an eye test which only cost £8 as I had a voucher :money:
Also Had to buy a stamp for a card I need to post. We spent £5.40 at soft play and now we are back home and I plan not to do anything else this afternoon! All the tidying/cleaning is done so ds and I will probably watch a film together re before picking the older boys up.
Still holding off from doing a large food shop, pay day is next Thursday so I'm hoping to try and last until Friday this week then I will only have to do the 1 weekly shop before next payday iyswim.0 -
Afternoon New Me,
Oh no to you looking at the wrong account, hopefully you can still pay off the £50 as planned.
Fingers crossed you can make it to Friday without doing a shop. I used to hate having to push the shops along but after a while I saw it as a challenge and even now il make the most of what I've got in rather than rushing out to the shops.
Im sure you will do it!! xxMummytogirls x0 -
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can pay the £50 off MtoG, our fridge is basically bare so just need to get through tomorrow then I will go shopping Friday morning after school drop off.
Still have £100 in my purse so I'm contemplating using the cash rather than my bank account to pay for shopping......decisions decisions!
Really hoping for a nsd tomorrow, ds3 is at preschool then we have friends coming over for the afternoon. Ds2 has swimming after school but we take snacks and drinks etc with us.
