  • Afternoon diary,

Filled the car up with petrol today so that was £55 spent, it should last at least 2 weeks though so hoping to only have to fill up once more before payday which is what I've budgeted for this month.

I still need to get Halloween costumes for the boys and grab a pumpkin for them to carve. Hoping to have some nsd's this half term as we don't really have the money to do lots considering Christmas is just around the corner!
  • Another £100 knocked off the debt today so down to £300 :j

Had quite a busy half term but managed bit to go overboard with the spending which I'm pleased with.
Today we are going to stay in and carve pumpkins so that should be fun, also going to have a homework afternoon so I know it's all ready for Monday.
  • Yay to the extra debt payment New Me! Well done on raining in the spending this week too!! xx

    Thank you. :)
I'm so happy this will be the last school holidays where we have to really watch our pennies as I always feel like the kids are missing out when we don't do much. :o
  • I've forgotten to add that before the half term started ds1 bought home his letter for his school trip in June. It's from Monday to Friday and will cost £300. My parents have kindly offered to pay half for us. We can pay off the balance online and it has to be paid by end of may, I've decided to pay £50 a month for January/February and March so it's paid off early, my parents will do the same. :)
  • Nsd today :T

I'm hoping for a nsd tomorow to as hubby is doing a few bits in the garden so think we will have a cinema day at home with the kids sweets from trick or treating last night.

Bank account is looking extremely depressing this month and I can't work out why :( think I'm going to have to have as many nsd's as possible and really watch what we spend. If I can manage to pay another £50 off the debt this month I'll be super happy but don't think it's doable.

Not posted much as we really don't have much to report! :o
Yesterday was a NSD but today I need to pop to mrS and pick up some yogurts and potatoes for dinner. Bank account is still looking rubbish do not holding onto much hope I will be able to pay any more of the debt before payday. Just trying to spend on essentials only and hopefully we can make it to the end of the month without using the overdraft.
  • Evening diary.

Well Ive been missing for a while whilst I had a good old sulk about not having much money this month then realised that actually, all our bills and rent have been paid, we have food in the cupboards and fridge and the kids don't need anything new at the moment so why the hell am I moaning! Stupid me!

Anyways, had a nsd yesterday and today :T I need to pop out and grab some baking potatoes tommorow and fill the car up with petrol so will be quite a hsd but it's all budgeted for. Going to do the weekly shop on Friday this week then hoping we don't have to spend out too much until payday (next Friday)

Hubby and I are hoping to do the majority of the Christmas shopping next weekend, we've saved the majority of the money but will add a bit more from novembers pay packet.
