Yeah, it's damage limitation, they must stand to make a fortune from a 3% increase.

With over 28 million customers and they said the increase is approximately 54p for each person....

So £15.1m a month or £181.4m a year! I don't think those of us who are leaving will make much of a dent in those figures!

I wonder if we'll have anymore verdicts from CISAS today!? Please post any results on this thread - even if you're long time lurkers that haven't posted anything to date.

Tomorrow is the deadline for EE to get their defence in for my case. Surprised the have left it this long. One thing that might work in my favour is my pre Oct 2012 contract was paid off early by me but refunded after I contested the change in terms and conditions.

If this goes my way I won't be getting any money back but I can walk away from it. Those who win I urge you to buy sim free and just get a sim only deal, that way you are more in control.

    Congrats!

Could we know the adjudicator too and if compensation was awarded.

They were post October 2012 and with EE. Over £1000 left on them. No compensation as did not ask unfortunately. Will have to look at the email again when I get back home, for the adjudicator.

Can't believe I won, rightly so though. It's about time the consumer fought back for what is right. Too often we are bullied and lied to by big businesses. This is a big boost to my confidence in exercising my rights and it should be a big boost for everyone else too.

Almost forgot and this deserves its own post.

A big thank you to RandomCurve. Without your templates and guidance, this would not have been possible. Thank you very much.

I'm going to go PAYG now. Was thinking VirginMedia as I already have everything else with them. My phone is pretty much the latest. Less than a year old and is awesome. No more contracts for me and the money I would usually spend with EE is going to go towards my hobby now.

    Congrats. Who was the adjudicator?

Can't remember, I think it was Justine. Will check when I get home. Out shopping at the moment.
