To make sure you get the unlock code, request it online. As EE have to refund all charges it's still free and you don't have them claiming they don't have to unlock it.

That's a good point. I have submitted my request though the website, however they state you need to have been a customer for at least six months, and I've only been with them for 5!

I expect they will reject the request, and I'll be forced to have it out with them that the adjudicator awarded me an unlock code.

Thanks baldyj for the running total update and the update on your case too.

I was just going to ask if any other winners have dragged out their acceptance of CISAS's rulling for the full 6 weeks to take advantage of what is effectively free service... I intend to string mine out....

No problem.

I didn't see the point in accepting the decision straight away, as it would effectively be like turning down £40!

Just to announce that I received an email today to say that I have been successful for cancelling my contract and to receive my PAC code. Didn't get awarded compensation but not too worried about that. Claim against Orange. Adjudicator was Richard Stephens.

Phone already unlocked so no issue there.

Happy Days and thanks to all those on here that have been good enough to supply us with the ammunition to fight this.

I am comprising a mail, to notify CISAS, of the failure on EE's part to meet their timeframes in full.
I really want to have a dig, mainly at OFCOM and their lazy, useless stance in all this.

Do I stand to lose anything by winding them up, (if they cba to read my mail?)
I want to put in bits about due to OFCOMS lack of response, in doing the role they have been put in place to do. I had to go to CISAS and now it appears, they are even mocked.
Or should i go along the, be polite, forget about it, get your money, move on.
Just in case I need these chocolate fireguards, if they dont cough up?

Put in another formal complaint to EE then to CISAS.

Here is the funny bit!
CISAS have NO enforcement powers! So they can do nothing if EE ignore them.

The way to approach this is to write to Ofcom (Lynn.Parker@Ofcom.org.uk) (copy in Mr Swamtee) and inform them that in addition to EE blatantly ignoring Ofcom GC 9.6, they are now showing total disrespect for the adjudication service by not complying with the deadlines given and you would like to know what enforcement action Ofcom will take.

Resend the email each week (even after Ofcom respond that they won't do anything).

Also enclose an invoice to EE for the sums owed stating that if the account is not settled within 7 days you will bring recovery proceedings the costs of which will be recovered from EE and apply interest at the rate of 8% per annum (the rate specified by the courts) from the date of the original claim.

Thanks for the scoreboard.

If we exclude the T-Mobile pre Oct 2012 cases (I'm amazed we won any of those - we really should not have) then the success rate is 53/58=91%

Well I accepted the CISAS decision on the 1st of May and received confirmation from CISAS on the 7th of May.
Iv still not received a text or email from Orange with my PAC code, is it worth chasing Orange up for this or should I just wait until the deadline of the 4th of June? Im really not bothered about taking advantage of the extra free use, I just want to close my account now.

Hi RandomCurve, can you advise on how to proceed with the reply I got back from EE in posts 1798 and 1799 on page 90. I think I have to use your reply templates but just wanted to double check. Thanks.
