Just had my PAC code from them, to my surprise.
It was literally that, a pac code in the text nothing saying it was a pac code either !
Maybe a little trick, send a code with no explanation of what it is, in the hope you wont know, and consequently wont use it.
Guess my hamburg trip wont be on EE, ahh well 12.90 per month 4g contract here we come.0 -
How long does it usually take from accepting a decision for EE to get things sorted?
I know.... EE and sorting things don't usually go well together!Currently in a Protected Trust Deed - 23 payments until DEBT FREE - February 20270 -
@ Ryan92
From my experience, it took CISAS a week to register, I had accepted their decision, then 3 weeks for EE to give me my pac code.
That was after chasing EE for it.
So I would say 4 weeks, but some of the others received the pac code 7 days after CICAS registering you had accepted, so I guess its a mixed bag.0 -

My trip to Spain 's datawill be on them as I won't be accepting the Cisas decision until I get back.0 -
Once you have PAC. How long does it last for? Do they refund you everything until the day you transfer?0
-
Pac code lasts 30 days, I think thats why they have sent it me with no description of what it is, on the off chance I disguard the text.
According to their mail I received earlier, they refund once you have used the pac, any charges you have accumulated.0 -

Smart thing to do is wait 5 weeks before accepting the decision, then CISAS will take a week to inform EE, EE take 4 weeks to issue PAC and you wait 3 weeks before using it - Therefore you get another 14 weeks (3.5 months) free use of the phone and a larger refund so it would have been like a savings account.
It is the least you deserve after the way they messed you around!0 -

Hi RC. Very grateful for all the help you have been dishing out to people over the past few months on here
I done as you said and have just received an email back from EE
Dear Mr X,
Thank you for your recent correspondence, received in the Executive Office, I have been asked to respond on behalf of EE.
I am sorry you are unhappy with the recent Price Increase. As a company we are committed to offering the best value for service which is why we have kept the increase to a minimum. The increase is a result of the rising costs to our business and is in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI), which is a measure of inflation.
We are obliged, as are all UK operators, to abide by General Condition 9.6 of the Ofcom. This condition sets out what we must do if a change is of material detriment to a customer, which is to provide 30 days' notice and allow a customer to end their agreement free of charge. When the changes are not of material detriment, the customer does not have the right to end their agreement. In the case of this price increase, the change is not of material detriment to customers.
The increase is in line with the Terms and Conditions of your contract specifically clause 7.1.4. As the increase is less than RPI should you wish to close the account early in accordance with clause 7.2.3.3 you would be subject to an early termination fee.
Whilst I understand this is not the outcome you were looking for, I trust I have clarified EE's position regarding this matter.
Yours sincerely

That's my plan, our phones are still quite new, so no need to rush, I'll take as long as possible then move onto a sim only deal at the last minute. What happens if you don't use the MAC? I take it even if you don't use it (I will) you're out of contract anyway?
Does anyone know if you can use a virgin sim card in a phone locked to T-Mobile, I know you could, not sure if anything has changed?0 -
Another long term lurker registering.
Thanks so much @Randomcurve and everyone else on here.
I submitted my claim, just had back EE's defence.
When I submitted my claim I put both numbers on but on the defence EE only refers to one number, do I need to put another claim through or will the adjudicator make a decision including both numbers as per my claim?
Thanks again0
