You have to top up your account if you are making a chargeable call. Calls to Tanzania are all chargeable.

    See: http://www.noodle.co.uk/dynamic/rates/prefix.php?prefix=255-Tanzania

I believe they are going to charge you for those call when you top up or delete your account altogether. They may also prevent you from re-registering a new account afterwards as all companies will see non-payment of charges as high credit risk.

Does anyone know how to set up a one-touch speed dial number preceding by your noodle number via bluetooth to your car's handsfree device?

I have tried sending my phone book contact details via bluetooth as normal but the phone book in the handfree device did not recognise the destination number after the 'pause' which I put in after my noodle number.

One of my friend had the same problem and I asked him to enter the noodle number with pause ( p button) continuously the international number you want and then press the green button to dial and it worked for him. So try that, it will work for you. You can even save the whole number and then call easily without dialling the number on and on again.
Actually this noodle is different for each phone. Some people(my friends) try one or 2 times and then give up. you have to find a way actually.
    hope that helps

This might help users. From their Q & A Page.

"There could be a number of reasons why your calls are not connecting: The following are the 3 most common causes

If your caller id on your handset is currently set to ‘withheld’, calls will not connect. See your handset manual for information on how to reset your phone to allow your number to be displayed.

If you are making International calls via the Noodle Oodles service either via the 0208 access code or through your mobile, check you have a positive balance. Dialling to some destinations has a small charge. So if you have zero funds in your account, these calls will not be able to connect. Make sure you have a positive balance in your noodle account either from making and receiving calls. Alternatively you can top up your account on-line.

You may be dialling incorrectly. Before connecting the call, ensure your noodle number is entered, followed by the ‘pause’ symbol, and then add the destination number.

ok, im on orange and have just signed up for noodles. the number they sent me was one beginning 078223... im guessing this is still inluded in my orange minutes... in fact i have just checked and my allowance on orange and it has gone down (if i remember the original allowance correctly) by the right amount so it looks like the 078223 number is also coming out of the allowance.

also, the information on noodle website now states:

Q :Will people pay extra to call my new number?Ans:From 1st August 2007, Noodle Oodles numbers are UK mobile numbers. Ofcom will classify Noodle numbers are UK mobile numbers. Ofcom classifies Noodle numbers as UK Operator virtual mobile network service calls (for those of you that like technical information). If you are calling a Noodle number from a mobile phone and are on a calling plan, the airtime should be included in the minutes bundle you signed up to with your carrier. Noodle recommends that you check with your current service provider first to see if your carrier will apply the Noodle-Oodles call to your calling plan.

Dont remember seeing that before but i may just be blind.

Don't remember seeing that either, although it doesn't change anything really, they still say they SHOULD be included and you should check first! But hopefully this means that they'll be available on vodafone and t-mobile etc for free but that remains to be seen!

The password is to allow you to log in to your account

To make outgoing calls using this, you dial your personal Noodle number, get a dialling tone, then the number you want to reach - don't press send at the end of this number, as your phone will make a second call

Did you get a number like 077000 or 078223? They seem to be treated differently by some of the main networks; for example T-mobile actually bars 077000

If you've just joined, I expect they'll have given you an 078223 number. Noodle said this will be in Vodafone inclusive minutes from a couple of days ago, T-mobile from 1st August. Unfortunately, I've just been charged 40 pence a minute by O2 though, which I expect they would refund once but it would be a pain to have to ask every month. So check for your network. I

You don't necessarily have to give card details in your account; only if you actually choose to add credit like this
