What do you mean not getting thru? You phone the number from your own mobile and you get a dial tone to call another number with. Or you can phone it from another phone and you should get thru to your mobile. Sometimes takes a few tries and is banned from virgin and t-mobile so that might be something to do with it. You only need the password to logon to their site but there's generally no need to.

thanks for ur help...well i have registered my account...if i dial my mobile no. from landline,it gets connected fine but when i try to make call from mobile using noodle no. it doesn't get thru...infact a continuous dial tone comes, and if i dial my destination no. it gets connected.i am with orange network...i don't know what i am doing wrong...is it something to do with credit?do we have to deposit some amount before making a call...sorry if i am being thick but ur help will be great!

So you dial your own noodles number from your mobile phone and you get a dial tone, then dial the number you want and it gets connected? That's what's meant to happen! Or do you mean you hang up and re-dial the number without going through noodles and that gets connected?

What type of number are you trying to call, some charge therefore you need some credit in your account first (apparently even some free ones need some credit to get connected). Or if you're trying to get through to a t-mobile or virgin phone maybe they are blocking incoming calls too?

Yes I know. It is just that I had thought it was not only 08xx numbers which O2 had pulled the plug on.

Like above post, that is your dial tone!!!

It's simple really, dial your noodle number (0770009****) then wait a couple of seconds and you'll get another dial tone. Then dial the number you want!

    Easy!

The reason why 077000 numbers are being counted as inclusive minutes on contracts is because 077000 numbers originate from vodafone. so its just like your phoning a person who is on vodafone.

They come from some Isle of Wight provider don't they?

And they aren't included on Vodafone contracts from what I can work out, a phone call to Vodafone and a check on their special numbers web page.

EDIT - It's definately not like phoning someone on Vodafone, if on t-mobile or virgin you could get through to the person on vodafone, you won't get through to the noodles number tho!

It might be Jersey, some island anyway!

After dialling your noodle number, long press the '*' key (left hand side of the 0') before dialling the destination number. You can also store the number in your phone book in this way. Do not press the send key again otherwise you will be making another international call charged by your provider at full rate!
