sorry for being a pain...but i am doing so but the call just drps after i put the destination no.do i have to press the dial button at the end...i have tried both ways but the ph. gets disconnected as soon as i put the destination no.i have also put 6p in my account as well for credit but i don't know what is wrong??

You don't have to press anything after putting the number in. Try it to your home phone to see how it works. It might be that you either can't call the number you want to, you don't have enough credit or you have to try a few more times (some people are reporting only getting thru after 10 tries!). Either way you'll see how it works (and if it works) by phoning your landline.

That should help narrow the problem down.

EDIT - You could always try ringing noodle and asking them???

I have just phoned the network '3' and they told me that making a call to a 077000 number will be charged an inital fee of £1, and £0.65p per minute there after!

Having said this, the operator was uncertain about the number at first, but put me on hold for a good couple of minutes, then asked if was a 'persoanl number' or a 'mobile number' and I responded 'mobile' to which I recieved that hesitant response by the operator.

WARNING: After phoning 3, I also phoned Orange (who arguably have the most annoying IVR system!), and the operator also said there is a charge for dialing a '07700' number and it will not come out of the inclusive minutes!

Any new ways to phone abroad, India ideally, I will keep you all updated, and likewise, do keep everyone else updated on aby developments.

Thats strange because I have been using the number on my Orange contract phone over the last week or so and my inclusive minutes have been reducing in line with the time I have spent using the noodle oodle number.

I would not trust a Orange operator, they can talk out their behinds at times, just after they announced they would be charging for 07744 and 07755 one operator told me that Orange had been charging for these calls since April 2006.

Don't try to rattle Orange's cage. This is a personal number service. Orange will get a bill from Noodle for their share of the calls. They may not pick up on it the first month but they will eventually. Use the service , check your inclusive minutes to ensure they're going down. Enjoy the ride while it lasts but don't alert themto this loophole. Being a big company it might take them som etime to close it. The service does work and i make intn calls using it. It's not often you get something for nothing.

You are right.Orange have very poor CS.sometimes they don't know about basic things such as how to transfer a call to other department.
You are helpless with them as u cant get angry or u cant say them to be quick as they dont hesitate to cutoff ur phone which connects after 15-20minuts.
    MSE IS AN ADDICTION

A local shop is giving away free oranges (as these special oranges are free to shop. Thanks to a delivery truck financed by local people).A: Are these free?B, C, D, E.... : yes. enjoy. A: Are these really free?C, D, E.... : YES these are. You are not paying. let us enjoy......A: Are you SURE these are really free?B, D, E.... : YES these are. Check your balance, you dont need to pay. and please don't shout much.A: I think I should ask the head office of this store chain to give me a letter that oranges are free and will stay free.So A does and .... local shop manager is suspended by head office and oranges are no longer free.Everybody lived unhappy ever after. This is a work of fiction and any similarity to any fruits (or non fruits) in this work is purely coincidental.so please stop asking from your network try your self after making a test call....like i did from my orange and o2 mobile and its not charge at all it shows on my bill call to other mobile network....if every one start calling networks might they close this number very soon.....

Quite apart from earning money from this spam affiliate referral, there is a privacy issue - who would want to give an unknown person their phone number?

    I've reported it to Abuse

Very good point, hadn't thought about it like that!

You really think that we are the only ones that know about noodle and that no-one at orange knows about it??? I can assure you that they will have done their research and are already deciding when to stop this. They can see how many people are phoning these numbers and when it becomes too costly for them they will stop it, simple as that!
