Flexplus Is it an offline card

Hi all I'm sorry to bring this up again but nationwide are giving me mixed messages via twitter my flexplus card starts 4751 4500 does anyone know for sure if this is an offline card I haven't been able to try it yet I can't drive due to an op but need to be sure I will be able to use asda pay at pump etc and whether it is an offline card

    The FlexPlus card is an offline card. They only open the account to those who are creditworthy. Also you don't need an offline card to work at Pay@pumps its just that RBS/Natwest block the Pay@Pump transactions for its online card customers.

    Thanks but I had a cash card plus from nationwide before I upgraded and that didn't work at pay at pump?

    Nationwide doesn't allow Pay@Pump transactions on its cash card either but the FlexPlus debit card is a full offline debit card and will.

    Thank you now I'm going to annoy you even more and say are you 100% sure I need to know before I switch all my dd and wages etc

    unless you try your card yourself, you cannot be sure. Just go and do it.

    If you want absolute proof without trying it, buy a magnetic stripe reader and check the service code but that would be a bit extreme.
