Morning all. Had a bit of a lie in listening to the rain lashing down, although it has stopped now. Going to put the pork in the slow cooker, have some breakfast, then get dressed and walk the dogs combined with popping to local shops.

Other plans for today (I'm actually on my own all weekend pretty much):

    Hoover and mop through house
    Make beetroot soup
See if I can start planting veg seeds

Lots of papers from this week to catch up on too.

    Have a great day everyone.

Morning! We are still in bed. Not slept late, but we've had toast and milk / tea and watched a DVD. They are sharing my iPad atm on the Cbeebies app :o I got relegated to my phone.

Bright here but forecast is rain from this aft probably for the next week...
Have washing to do and dot to dotting. My wardrobe seems full <oops stop spending>
Thinking about getting up but they are sharing nicely and I don't like to disturb that!!!

It's quiet on here this morning. Expect that you're all flying. I have decided against mopping the floors as the dogs just will walk prints all over, so that will wind me up. So just a hoover through will have to do.

I've been to the shops with the dogs, washed up, no washing to do today, so far so good.

    Righty, hoovering time.

Me again. Hoovering done. I also took cushions off sofas and hoovered those. It would appear that OldDog who is not food driven has been hiding the treats she doesn't want, but doesn't want LittleyDog to have either.

Beetroot soup time, better be good. The beetroot and chocolate brownies last week were not great. Am hoping this will use the last of my beetroot stash.

    Morning all.

Hugs, sticks and spoons to all.

I spent yesterday doing monotonous admin for work so no flying again :o

DD is off in Cumbria today with her dad/his fianc!e doing final bridesmaid dress fitting and some last minute wedding stuff. After some discussion the plan is that she's now going away Saturday morning (15th) and not coming home until lunchtime the following Saturday! So I am going to be on my own for a full week, which would be great if it wasn't my busiest work week and the one that DD helps me with the most :rotfl:Unfortunately she's been told she'll probably be set project style homework for over the holidays so getting that done could prove interesting. She's not taking it with her as the wedding will be taking up at least 3 days, plus a day each end basically lost to travelling, and I think some 1 on 1 time with her dad & stepmum after all the wedding will be good for them. She needs the down time as she's been getting herself worked up over tests in school, and the wedding. :(

Today I'm going to take henry for a dance around upstairs and down, and do lots of laundry, which includes the throws from the sofa again. How DD manages to make so much mess I don't know. I still have loads of other jobs to do but I really can't be bothered. :o My GUAG has run off somewhere. :o:o

Some time ago Poohbear gifted me an 18th Birthday Banner.

I have now used it twice but it's still in very good condition.

Could anyone make use of it?

    Cat litter tray washed
    Bill paid
