LameWolf Pip starts off avoiding the puddles but after 5 mins or so she just doesn't care and gets really splattered! She is sweet - she goes so far then stops, turns her head to see where I am and waits for me, bless her. This is the dog they said never let off lead or she'll be gone for good ....
Pigpen do you mean you're wearing clothes as opposed to PJs or something where you've been ill? It conjures up all sort of images!! As for OH, well, men are just wimps when they have the slightest little sniffle and well done you for not flooring him I say :A
Lunch and then flying - may be up for HHC at say 1.15 if anyone's interested at all?Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
We are fed and I am showered. Mum will be here soon hopefully to watch DD whilst I go to my appointment. Will opt us out of the data sharing thing too, I think. Given they had DH down as a 335 year old on his hospital records when I applied for them, I don't really trust them to keep the right information, much less do I want them "sharing" their garbage. I have no problem per se with a health database for research purposes however I don't trust "them" to not use the information for profit and other undisclosed purposes. Too much data goes missing these days.

Might do a quick LR tidy to stay on top of DD things spreading out...Bossymoo

Specially for your OH, Piggers.
I did smile at you saying you're wearing clothes so you're grumpy - reminded me of our mate Colin (left us for the Summerlands in 2006) who was a Naturist, and always kept a dressing gown hanging by the front door, in case of unexpected callers.:o We still miss the old fart - twas he who brought me and Mr LW together.:o

Well done when asked my surgery sent me the wrong forms so I need to go in or write and tell them exactly what I mean.
Lovely time had lounging around and then I walked home and it is quite sunny atm.
Just going to check that DS1 has actually tidied his room and then do a few bits of paperwork. It would be a shame to spoil being relaxed by doing houseworkThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
DH and I have just done our turn cleaning the church, church hall, kitchen and toilets - roughly the equivalent of a small house. It took us just over 1½ hours altogether.
The sun has been shining all day but I have still not set up the compost bin - I need to move some bricks in order to reduce the size of the hole in the paving slabbed area where it is to stand, and at the moment DH's boxes are blocking the side door, but I refuse to carry the bricks through the house!
The begonias and irises that I potted up only yesterday are already showing new shoots0
