I've managed to make our appointments with the practice nurse (the surgery was closed when I tried to ring yesterday afternoon).

CY, have you booked yourself in with the doctor?

My HH turned into over an hour; Dys0ned the whole bungalow, divested the Dys0n rollers of loads of long red hairs, descaled the loo and scrubbed said loo and wash basin, removed dry shirts and chinos from A-frames and stashed in the airing cupboard, and washed up now-empty coffee pot.

Obviously it's completely up to you Joeyjimbles, but I wouldn't put yourself under too much pressure to do the housework all over the weekend too - we start again next week and you will be in each room again. I try not to do too much over the weekend but I am a lazy so and so!!

Hello, I've not accomplished very much other than feeding the WM and TD.

DS3 is off school for a second day. His temp is climbing. DD2 is out on a play date.

DS3 helped me cook a caramel loaf cake. He's very good reading the recipe and lining up the ingredients.

He had a sleep this morning do I put half a dozen items on Eb@y.

I'd better cook some dinner for DH. I've had a headache all day so feel a bit sensitive.

    Debt-free and Proud!
Well, I've sorted and cleaned everything on the lists this week apart from the kitchen inventory but I'm seriously thinking of doing that now! I cleaned the filter on the WM, didn't even know where it was on this machine and had to get the manual out, turns out it is behind a panel you have to remove with a screwdriver. It was seriously gross but on the plus side there was about £3 in spare change in there which is currently sat in a tub of vinegar as some of it might be a little rusty!
Can't wait for DD to come back from Sweden trip, it has been very quiet. They haven't had Valli's great record and are coming back with one hip injury (fortunately not broken or dislocated as originally feared but pretty messed up) and one dislocated shoulder. DD is bumped and bruised and GP she was staying with has said that mysterious rash on elbows and knees is actually psoriasis.
Turns out DS1 has ligament damage to knee requiring robocop style brace and possible cartilage damage requiring MRI and surgery. Consultant kept going on about it being a 3 week old injury and I managed to keep my mouth shut and not get defensive about it, go me!
In other news DHs windscreen was broken with a brick :( and DS1 finally brought home his school's Ofsted report, level 4, inadequate in every area
Have a good weekend everyone and I'm personally hoping next week is better than this one! :D
