Well, I have done reasonably well this week.
Paid stuff today, then food shopping, took DSs Xray to the dentist, called at the pet shop, took 2 parcels to the post office, put all the food shopping away, walked the dog, made tea and hoovered the kitchen floor.
Really tired now. I am going to have to do more paid stuff tomorrow as I am taking DS1 to the hospital on Monday so wont be able to work and there are deadlines to meet. But hey it all brings in the pennies (and I have just had a £150 car bill) so mustnt complain.
I have taken the hoover upstairs with the intention of giving the kids bedrooms a quick going over but stuff it I am off to put my jim jams on and crash in front of the telly instead.0 -
Just a quick update as kiddies wont go to bed.
dusted all the living room, sweeping any clutter into a huge box (was hoping to sort through it tonight) Did find 26p and added to my jar.
emptied 2 airers of washing and folded onto kids piles (I wont iron it as they just empty them onto floor)
stripped our bed and put in washer after pup wee'd on it (just going to put it in dryer)
Got the kids to help take the mountain of toys upstairs and hovered hall/stairs and landing.
Fetched kids home.... and I cant see my floor again!
Need to reload washer and dishwasher and make dh his dinner before he gets home.
Over the weekend we are hoping to decorate our bedroom so will try and give it a good clean after.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

Late update - just back from sitting next door - forgotten how energetic a five year old can be even with the chpox!:rotfl:
Mumof2 I managed about 45 minutes this pm then had to have a drink!!! A lot of stuff done including WUDUPAS after preparing our early tea so not much to clear away now.
Plan to do a few bits over the weekend - but not too much. DH is jet washing where I slipped if it stays fine for a couple of hours tomorrow morning.
Have agood weekend everyone - looking forward to next week's thread.July 16 £95/£200

Hi all
Been MIA for a few days.
Weds went to see a solicitor to write my will. As sad as it seems I want to know that my cats will be taken care of if I pop my clogs. My lovely friend has said she will look after them and I've set some money aside for their care, any left over she can spend on herself as a thank you. My niece & nephew will get the bulk.
Yesterday I came home to find rain pouring through the sun room roof flooding the floor, which in turn was making it's way into the kitchen and flooding the worktop. I'm ashamed to say that it knocked me for six and really upset me. I'm trying to get the house ready for sale and feel like it's a massive step back. I'm now very annoyed with myself for getting so upset over something petty.
Today we have had sunshine and blue skies which has cheered me and given me a much needed boost.
The guys have almost finished replacing the guttering & fascias, to help give the house kerb appeal (I hope). It does look much better so that's something positive *pollyanna*
Flying has actually happened tonight!
WM x 1 & hung on indoor line
BR, LR, stairs, Landing & Hallway dusted & hettyed
CY hope you've managed to get an appointment with your GP. Sorry to hear about DS
Pigpen KH really lives up to his name. Hope your DDs are feeling a bit better for telling you
Bossy hope DD is feeling better & DS's lump is reducing

Aww deco don't be too hard on yourself, I think a leak like that would have most of us in tears
Kiddies much better thanks X
I've only just got them off to bed, hoping they'll have a lie in. We've all been snipped, trimmed and coiffed. DS looks very handsomeeven with his bumpy head haha. Hairdresser told DD he would cut her hair longer lol cos she wouldn't sit down.
We were late to eat, late in bath, late for snack, you get the picture... Hopefully they'll be late up too. Inlaws coming in morning but they aren't usually early.
I've stuff to do at home, then will go see my mum tomorrow eve. She's a bit fed up and stepdad has gone north for the weekend for a job.Bossymoo

DS2 collected from work
Just going to tidy up in he kitchen then head up, I'm snacky tonight which isn't like me.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Deco.. at least your leak happened now rather than 2 days before a completion .. it's only 'stuff' no one was hurt and while it is a pita it is fixable ((hugs)) .... Tiddles seems much, much happier with stuff out in the open and having been reassured it is all silliness and none of it matters right now. DD2 said she seems happier too so it isn't all wishful thinking on my part.. unfortunately they are with KH this weekend so likely to have their heads filled with all manner of crap again.
Pixie isn't well and it currently sat with OH in an attempt to get her to sleep, she has a temp and I gave her calpol which she is gradually throwing up.. she did it last time but this is a different brand so I though it might be ok, but it isn't!
OH told off for shouting.. I don't care that he has a cod I will not sit here under a tirade of his fog horn noise.. I hate shouting and we had more than enough from KH I don't need any from him.. so he got told!
Squeak wanted to wear her new shoes to bed.. She has a party to attend tomorrow so I need to present wrap..
Pixie is currently ripping OH's face hair off lol.. I think she's had enough of him tooLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Lemanie - the word is that OfSted have moved goalposts.
Plus the school will be being scrutinised big time so don't make any hasty decisions. They will be working very very hard to improve.

Well I'm all done for the weekend. Want to get more stuff boxed up out of the kitchen. Didn't realise how much carp I had and I haven't started on the big cupboard yet. DD going to help move the sideboard in there into living room and I can put the kettle and microwave on that while they are busy. Not sure when it's being done yet but at least it will be ready.
decogecko. I would have been upset too. Sending you house selling vibes.0 -
