Evening
Tiny had a great day at nursery all smiles so I will consider her settled. Managed to zumba, shower and have a general tidy again today, will ponder the list now.
hugs to those unwell and in scuffs and scrapes.0 -
Glad some of our poorlies seem to be improving.
Lovely cuppa with friend due to pop in 2 weeks. Eek. Shes having a surprise this time so cant wait to find out if blue or pink!
Had bloods this morning where they said results would be back in a week. Had call this evening from doc to say a doc woild be phoning me tomorrow to talk about results. Bit worried. Whenever ive had bloods im always anaemic and they just leave a script at the desk to collect. Am sure its fine but just results with 12 hours is a bit fast for my liking....
Loaded dw and wiped down sides. Washed up plastics. Collected dd1 from beavers. Decluttered greys anatomy from the planner.

Bossy - had the boys not reported it?
We send out notes. I go out with them and I mention it to picker-uppers anyway to make sure they're aware in case the note isn't seen, or gets mislaid.
One of 'mine' who banged into a corner has had to go to the docs as she developed a haematoma which is causing a 'pulling' on a nerve! This was back in October.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Not sure Valli, possibly not. But I'm not sure also how it could be missed, it was that big. Swelling settled a bit before bedtime though. He's not sure if it was morning or afternoon, lol. Boys, eh? Certainly didn't spoil his appetite tonight... Had a plate full of snack (crackers, cheese, cucumber etc) then chicken and jacket spud, then a smoothie pouch and an apple, then asked what's for tea? so he had milk and toasted muffins for supper. All in the space of 3hrs.
I think he's not concussed :rotfl:Bossymoo

My kitchen is looking much nicer.. I had a brainwave.. I removed the broken stick off my brush head and attached the head to my handle for my feather duster.. so I have a functional brush.. DD2 and her bf cleaned the kitchen for me.. I cooked dinner for everyone. As a plus I have 3 burns.. 2 on my right hand from the oven dishes and 1 from the hot fat out of the Yorkshire puddings on my left hand!
my mouth ulcers are bad again..I have gorgeous tonsils again.. I think I need euthanising, I am a mess!! .. OH has a cold so is an @r$e.
I have told OH I am seeing of Pixie will take a bottle so I could go to my besties birthday do in 5 weeks.. I'm not overly fussed about going out and would only drink lemonade.. but I would like to go because it is her.

Just caught up. After I left on Tuesday I left the family with a list and asked them all to do one item from the list. I then got home on Weds morning to find that DH had blitzed the lounge, he even cleaned the fire out
. I'm going into uniform with cubs. DS is moving up to scouts and I won't really be a parent helper then so need to be invested for insurance. We'll see how it goes
.
Bossy, hope you're feeling better in yourself today. I liked your comment about picking yourself up by the bra straps.
I'm off work now until Saturday night. Let's see how I get on tomorrow.

Morning everyone.
Yesterday.
Bathroom done
Dailies done.
Bags dropped off a charity shop.
Had the back yard power washed and what a difference.
Must look into how I opt out of this new health data base thing at GPs.
Hugs,spoons and sticks where needed.0 -
Morning everyone
Wendy, you need to feel happy and confident with that CV. If you get an interview its going to make it even scarier if you feel like you are going in under false pretences. When I went back to work after being a carer quite a few people said I shouldnt mention my sons health problems at all but I was honest - and I got the job.
Hugs to those struggling emotionally - have been there myself.
Glad Tiny is settling. Sounds like the little Bossy is doing OK after his bump - you can always relax if they are eating like that! Pigpen, hope the bottle feeding works, you deserve a night out!
Friday at last. Full day of paid stuff then food shopping and will also tackle the boys bedrooms and sort some more never ending laundry. Went for a run last night and shoulders are a bit achy for some reason.
Right, need to shift myself.0 -
Good morning all
Off to the local spa part of the sports club this morning to celebrate a friend's birthday. Only about £11 so not a huge outlay.
Need to try to get a few bits done before I go.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
