My HHC overran until now. I have shuffled laundry between machines.
Moved DS2 crap stuff and henried/ washed skirtings. Moved emergency heater, henried/washed skirtings of most of the LR. Just computer corner to do. Radiator dusted behind and washed. Time for lunch then hopefully more HHCs in the LR. I have resisted temptation to carry on into other rooms. My return key has stopped working for some reason. x

When the Met Office said it was going to be windy but not rain overnight, silly, silly me put a load in the washing machine and pegged it out at 9.30pm last night. It started raining 15 minutes later, having been dry out there for eight continuously windy hours (during which rain had been forecast) and it has been raining ever since. I now have a large pile of very wet clothing soggying up my kitchen. I really am tired of this. I have two lodgers who, because of the size of the company, are not allowed to do their washing at the theatre - which is a first - and both of whom need to have clean stuff. Plus this week's bedding, and I'm still waiting to get three room changes through from the previous weeks, plus this week's bedding and towels. OH is whinging about lack of information on the washed out track at Dawlish and wants to use all the hot water for his shower prior to going away for the weekend. *mini grr*

On a postive note, I've done my frog email (deferred for two months due to absolutely cowardice on my part) and had a positive reply within two minutes. Thank you N, in Bristol, although I absolutely know you are not a Flylady, for totally making my day!

I'm going to crank up the tumble drier. *weep*
    Better is good enough.

CY Posi-vibes for you and DS. I have a very low opinion of people who cheat on their partners.

Perhaps a visit to the opticians is due soon, though....
That's reminded me, I'm probably due my annual eye exam soon; I'll wait til they write to me though, as I'm currently skint, and if I need new specs, I can't afford to buy them at present.

Today's gone completely pear-shaped, but sort of in a good way.

Dog-sitting franchisee had to pick up two dogs from their host early this morning, (due to unforeseen circumstances - long story); but they're not due back to their owner till 15:00 this afternoon. So I got a call begging a "HUGE favour" as he put it - could I have two Cairn Terriers for about 5 hours, as he couldn't really trail them round in the car with him all day, while he picks up/delivers other dogs.

So instead of Flying, I am looking after Rocky (elderly, and with a dodgy bladder) and Jack (younger, inquisitive, and constantly wanting to know what's going on).:D I have them settled on the sofa at the moment, so will stay with them and do my emails/surveys, and Fly later.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Oh dear, seems like I'm rather behind; it was my birthday on Tuesday so I didn't do anything, CBT yesterday and today I've been to Pilates and tried to get some new boots - all to no avail :(. I loved my other boots (had them 7 years!) but they're way past it now and I found another hole so having to fling.

Sorry to see there's some people suffering from all the grey skies/rain/wind/general darkness; I'll lob a stick in your direction and see if it helps. My GUAG isn't huge but will fly after I've done some paid work.

Here's my list; got extras too but not bothering to put them on here
Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Sweep and mop floors
    Wipe dining table..

Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Check those washing machine filters. Dishwasher filters need to be done too!!

Weird Wednesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean TV, other electricals and cabinets
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc

Thrilling Thursday - Master Bedroom & Landing
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..
    15 minutes floordrobe clearance
    Wipe doors down!
Have a sort and tidy in the linen cupboard/airing cupboard while searching for your clean sheets.. is it pretty in here again?
Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one.
    Extra tasks list...

    • 42 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
    • Clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe the bed frame it is amazing how fluffy they get!
    Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting

I really need to stop myself from [STRIKE]stalking[/STRIKE] looking at the f@cebook of a person who doesn't pay his csa because he's stopped working but has a mortgage to pay and seems to spend all his time gropping his auburn haired girlfriend's b00bs in the pub!
Worse thing is he still is the most stunning creature I've ever seen :( it took my breath away :( I sometimes forget how much DD1 looks like him :(
Deju vu panic attack followed _pale_ appetite disappeared :(

ALL washing put away! :T Table clear and cleaned and new cloth on.
I don't feel like doing much now :( I'm so stupid for looking  why doesn't he have it locked down like normal people?! ;)
  • Got sidetracked this morning as decided to go shopping as it is fine and not due to be tomorrow! Amazed to see sandbags outside local shops!! Several mill? bill pound sea defences obviously not up to these storms.

About to start a double HHC at 1:30 - anybody joining me? Sorry ofr short notice but got sidetracked - again - stripping a bed

So glad you've got good company today, LW!

I have finished off the card, it is signed by both of us and in a stamped envelope, ready to post when we go out.
I have potted up 40 begonia tubers (some already sprouting nicely :)) and 9 iris rhizomes. The 10th iris was completely rotten so I rang the suppliers (a well-known and normally very reliable firm) and will be sent a £5 voucher as compensation :) That's about half the price of the whole set of 10.
DH has measured up his garage carpet :p and built my compost bin :A
We have decluttered soup and ham and are now going out to 1ke@ to get DH's stuff and some extra bits for DS1.

At least we shall have something to show for today's efforts :T

    Afternoon all

Been out all morning walking and then drinking tea with 2 friends. Washing in on the maiden and I have responded to a couple of emails.

Couple more emails to do and then hoovering for me from 2pm before I permit myself another cuppa.
