Just takes me to a 'letter' introducing the petition although I can see the number of signatures.

Perhaps we don't see who signed?

Trip out tomorrow with the 'littlies'...:rotfl:

Hope you coped ok with your emotional day Bossy and the little moos were alright to.

I'll sign the petition Dusty, good luck with that.

Write an inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
Weird Wednesday - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
Water any thirsty plants, wipe their poor neglected leaves!!
Binbag dance.. Get a binbag, crank up the volume.. strut that stuff, sing loudly and out of tune and off key, fill the binbag and bin it!!!

If it's gone I've done it, I've been a woman on a mission this week. It's the first proper bottoming I've done since my hand packed up in the summer and now its working well again. Everything looked ok on the surface and was fly lady list tidy but those bedroom curtains/windows were filthier than the living room ones where we have a coal fire! Where does the muck come from, answers on a postcard please :rotfl:

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Signed & shared the petition on faceb00k & twitt3r ;)

Almost no flying done today, I tided up, threw a wash load on, and started doing the accounts for work & home. I always double check my maths when I'm working with my 'cash in' and it took me 5 attempts to get 2 answers the same for some reason, then I had to sit and count the cash and kept counting that wrong as I have loads of 1ps through 20ps and not much of any higher denominations. I gave up at 5pm when things seemed to balance, just put everything away and a customer called to cancel some items which means my work accounts are now out of date again :wall: Today obviously wasn't a day for money stuff :o

DD came home asking for take-away, and since I was wanting something greasy & cheesy I was going to order in. Then after sending DD to look at how much housekeeping I had left for this week (she's going through a 'money grows on trees' phase since I started regularly paying her pocket money. She must be feeling rich despite only getting £2.50 a week  ) she got very disheartened at the fact there was only £11 in (new week starts Friday) so she couldn't have all she wanted as it came to£18! So I made a version myself using stuff I already had in. :D She loved it, except the garlic mushrooms, they definitely need be done with fresh mushrooms not frozen but at least I gave it a go and they can be used in something later in the week.

I'm off to bed now. I have work most of Thursday, but have the afternoon off so I'll do flying then. How on earth did it get this late already??? :(

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Tonight's explanation as to why DD brought most of her lunch home, piddled thrice and refused her tea? She has just hurled all over her clean bedding :o

She's now in fresh pjs and surrounded by a pile of towels. Laundry tomorrow, I guess..,

  • Ahh Bossy, the pleasures of being a Mum eh.

Hope little Roxy is OK at Nursery today.

Well done on the home made takeaway Nicki, good lesson for DD too, although if anything like mine it takes some getting the message through.

Paid stuff this morning then this afternoon - well believe it or not I may have an afternoon at home and a bit of time to tick some jobs off the list. Shouldnt have said that or it will all go pear shaped.

Will sign the petition later. Have a good day all x
  • Life has been a bit hectic recently so I haven't been on the thread.... and then all this stuff happens to people:-

Pigpen - I would have said I am shocked, but I have been here a while, and sadly have read about a lot of your KH's stunts. Words fail me, but I am so glad that your kids have you in their lives to counterbalance KH's bile.

bossy - hope DD is feeling better today. I do remember that sort of thing, though.

I was expecting DS home at the end of the month. The landlord had relet the house and they were planning to move stuff back into their respective homes over the next couple of weeks.

But I got a text at 6.30 last night to say he was coming home last night. He has discovered that she had cheated on him. Poor lad is in bits, but he knows it is the right decision.

so his stuff is in binbags all over the dining room. I will have to start sorting it today.

Black dog is well and truly resident. made all sorts of noises about seeing GP at the time of mums move last year, and for various reasons didn't. But I know now I need to go and get some help. Probably won't be able to get an appointment before next week....
