    Morning,

Been up since 4am but didn't manage to fly as was stuck to the loo - tmi sorry, fell back into bed at 7.30 before DD1 reminded me to get up for the school run. Tiny off to nursery at 1 until 4, so feeling very motivated that things will get done as long as I don't fall back into bed.

Monday Madness- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area
    15 minutes...
    Clean floors in these rooms
    30 minutes to spare...
Clean baths, toilets, don't forget under the rim! and sinks
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    Got an hour...
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom.. defragment your pc while doing this.
Empty and clean out all the upstairs bins! (the proper bins not the rooms that look like bins!)
Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Clear a mega hotspot!.. shred it.. and fling it.. or just burn it!
    Extra mission:
    • Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
    • Wipe down the doors and frames in these rooms.
    • clean the radiators in these rooms
    • Fling all those empty bottles and tubes
    • Replace sponges/flannels/toothbrushes that are in need

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    15 minutes...

    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    30 minutes to spare...
    Sweep and mop floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Got an hour...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean fridge and see what needs using first (why do I have 4 jars of cranberry sauce in mine?)
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    • Clean oven if it really needs it.. or just do the hob.. mines gross.. you need to shame me into cleaning it!
    • HHI .. bit of a catch up!!
    • Write an inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
    • Empty the cutlery drawer.. clean it out, wash the cutlery tray, chuck those baby spoons you don't use any more.. how many medicine spoons do you actually need? get rid of everything you don't use and make the drawer look nice again!

Second load of yoghurt now straining in the fridge, dining room dust-free, rediculous calculation done for OH. I'm currently dealing with the cutlery drawer insert and got side-tracked by this.

Maths and arithmetic were never my strong point. Can anyone else definitively tell me/him what percentage 42 million is of 70 billion? He's doing a 'thing' on Sunday at the crack of o'sparrow phart, and while his audience might not care about the odd misplaced zero at that time of day, he needs to know he's somewhere near the right figure. (I've got a choice of two and counting, so I'm no help.) For clarity, we're using the British version of one billion, not the American.)

And I've done a load of washing which is on the sundeck being blasted by the breeze. It's going to rain later, so I'm hoping this load will be vaguely dry by then. We're running out of smalls here.
    Better is good enough.

0.00006% If you are classing the british billion as a million million. Most places now have adopted the thousand million, I believe.

At least I have realised why I am in a grump. Nothing to do with all those zero's :p

Thank you Bossy for the figure - it was one of my answers, so I'm more than happy with that!

And, of course, huge huge (((hugs))) for you. No wonder you feel *meh*. OH still lights a candle every night at dinner, since you originally asked some months ago. He may not do it for the original reason now, but I think of your DH, DS and DD every night when I see the flame. My OH sends you a (((hug))) as well as his thanks.

In a foul mood again today :( made worse by idiots on the road this morning when taking DD1 to the station.
Everything and anything is p*ssing me off today, even stuff that can't be helped. Ddog peed on her clean bedding , so that's back in the machine. Dcat1 is getting on my nerves, following me everywhere, thinking she's dying of starvation as only 3 of the 4 bowls has food in them
My friend phoned and I ranted to him for an hour! Poor thing :o

When we were on honeymoon, I ran out of duty free booze on the last day :o We had a mini bar in our room and I was tempted by a miniature of Bombay Sapphire gin -- that was, until I looked at the price list and saw it was over £12!! I couldn't help but think, I paid less than that for a litre at the duty free! All of a sudden I wasn't that thirsty ;)
When we were on honeymoon (in December 2002, though we were married in the September - long story) the hotel wanted €66 for a bottle of champagne to take to our room. The local Sp@r were selling it for €15 so we bought one there, sneaked it up to our room, chilled it in the snow outside our window (we looked out onto the roof of the floor below) for a couple of hours, and enjoyed champagne at a quarter of the price we would have paid!:D

A day late but apparently my OH thinks I'm super woman so need to look after LO and do the cooking & cleaning! I will get the hang of it soon enough though, otherwise he's threatening to get a cleaner and I really don't want one. Will try to do as much as possible from the lists :)
OMG; a stranger poking about in my stuff is one of my worst nightmares! Mr LW would gladly employ a cleaner if I asked him, but I'd sooner saw my leg off with a rusty bread knife than have someone in to do "my" job!

Ah, this explains the BD the size of a grizzly bear that is currently sitting on my chest.:(

I managed to give the bedroom and the spare room a pretty good clean yesterday (yet another duster in the bag for washing) and I've given the fridge a good going over today - it never gets too bad, with there being only the two of us and with me being somewhat OCD about using stuff in rotation; the only thing that really wanted doing was the veggie drawer had a bit of condensation in the bottom; but the veg cushion in the bottom has kept the food from being affected.:T All clean now; I've also tipped the crumbs out of the bread drawer and wiped the shelves over, whether they needed it or not.;)

My hands (and, strangely, my right elbow) are hurting now, so I shall see to my emails and review my Frog list, see if there's anything I can do without inflicting extra pain.

Got to visit Mr T when Mr LW gets in from work; we need some items I can't get in @ld! - drinking choc, Earl Grey tea, and Mr LW's cholesterol-lowering yogurt drinks.

Dins is 2nd half of the quiche we had yesterday, so just need for Mr LW to cut a couple of spuds for chips to go with it when we get back. Probably Xmas Pud and custard for dessert.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I left Tiny at nursery screaming at half one, she had been going for 45 mins. I know she was fine as everytime I held her she stopped. It felt very strange walking home by myself.

I have put on a wash, WASHED MY HAIR (without a baby crying )and am currently eating some lunch (without someone filling a nappy mid way through).

Have to go and get big one in 15 mins and then straight to get Tiny, she's only settling in today so will be there until 5 tomorrow.

if you can help I would be gratful, please mail me.
I already have a request on freecyle, and looking on eby.

I might be able to help with something for the boy if he is in age 10-11 clothes. Will have a look in a bit and pm you if I have got anything.

I am tired and headachy. Think I need my eyes testing. Just finished work, walked the dog, put a load of washing in and now I want to curl up and sleep.

However, I will be a good flylady and take myself off to tackle something (anything would be a bonus right now!).

Roxy, I remember my eldest being literally prised of me by the nursery staff a few times, he soon came to love the place though. And yeah that feeling of being alone, so strange.

Right - this house wont clean itself.

I feel really down today. I am really annoyed with myself, I applied for a job and should have had my interview today, I rang and cancelled  I wish I had more confidence.

Hugs to everyone feeling fed up :)
