Pixie hugs, now pick yourself up, dust yourself down and get sprinkling your fairydust on the next applications. You feel down because you want to do this so you can. We know you can, you are a flylady you can do anything.

Presents wrapped, cake made, email sent to school, kitchen and DR hoovered, cat blanket on sofa changed. WM on, shame I missed such a good weather drying day.

Just want to hoover the hall and shower room and then push the mop around. Birthday boy should be home at 4:30. DH will hopefully be home in time for dinner, cake and presents.

My boss called me and said "can you join me in office 1 please"

So I went through and he said "right what's up, something's bothering you" so I told him and he said "what are you even doing here? No one is in tomorrow, work from home, off you go - oh by the way there's another job for your list" phew haha it seems I'm not good at hiding my "meh"

Honey bear thankyou and DH for the candle :A

Going to have me a little cry later then I'll pick myself up by the bra straps and keep plodding on.

    Tea, then garage!!!

    Morning!
Need to go out for baby bits from Boots, get a canvas to do the kids handprints on for mums birthday.

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    15 minutes...

    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    30 minutes to spare...
    Sweep and mop floors
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    Got an hour...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean fridge and see what needs using first (why do I have 4 jars of cranberry sauce in mine?)
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
    Extra Mission
    Choose one or more of:
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    • Write an inventory of your cupboards contents and what needs using first
    • Empty the cutlery drawer.. clean it out, wash the cutlery tray, chuck those baby spoons you don't use any more.. how many medicine spoons do you actually need? get rid of everything you don't use and make the drawer look nice again!

Most of the things I wanted to do are done, managed to get to Boots. Couldn't find a canvas but will get one tomorrow.
Batch cooking done so we've had tea and 2 other dinners in the freezer.
Just need to wash up when I can be bothered!
    Huge hugs Bossy :( xx

    Hi all :hello:

(((HUGS))) pigpen - hope you all get better soon x

I've been in a mess with my mouth - won't go into too much detail but started weeks ago with tongue swelling to almost twice it's size and covered in lumps and ulcers. I've now had a tooth removed and some of the jawbone is exposed and infected, argghh! Tongue is better now though - yay! Other problems are being sorted with antibiotics, etc :) I have also completed my NVQ Level 3 at last - yay me :D Have now started my Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Diploma :)

Anyway back to FLYing, lol - ready to join in - even if it's just a little at a time, (work in a school full time, studying AND rehearsing for a play)! A little at a time will slowly but surely get it done :)

Will go for the 15-30 min jobs to get me started and caught up a bit :)

    Much love,
    Jenny x

You're welcome, Bossy. We'll both be thinking of you all tomorrow. I'm relieved you've identified the source of the tension. More (((hugs))).

Healing vibes, JennyJewell. I'm afraid I can't read the paragraph about what the problem is (too phobic) but I *wince* feel your pain.

It is blowing a ferocious gale here, without doubt the strongest of the year so far. Horrible. Mrs Dog still thinks she is getting her 8.30pm walk. I very much fear she is not. Dog lead, front door, three minutes. In again. Goodnight Vienna, as they say. Apparently the combination of the gales and waves have done for the track at Dawlish (no surprise there), so all journeys to Exeter/London are de-training for the Newton Abbot to Exeter bit. OH very, very unhappy.
    Better is good enough.

JennyJ healing vibes for you, sore mouths are so miserable

Bossymoo bigest hugs, you will get to the other side of this for you always do, I hope knowing we are all thinking of you is a little comfort.

Off to put DS3 to bed and then I need to do a few odd bits on here.

  • Bossy, glad your boss is understanding. Hope you get through tomorrow OK.

Pixie, dont beat yourself up. If I can get myself a job after being a carer for 2 years and ending up with zero confidence anyone can. Good luck.

I ended up having a little nap in the end but I am glad I did because I then went on a 3 hour cleaning frenzy and have just got finished.

Off to see what DS2 is doing, he should be ready for bed now, going to get in my jim jams myself.
