    Morning all.

I'm having an admin day, but the kitchen isn't too bad so I'll go do a HHC in there first. I have a minimum of 4 loads of washing to do plus the ironing as DD hasn't got any blouses for tomorrow. I need to remember to see another customer tonight.

So in my HHC I plan to:

    Monday Madness- Bathroom

Clean toilets, don't forget under the rim! Going to let it soak in bleach first as I forgot to do it last night.

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    15 minutes...

    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    30 minutes to spare...
(Sweep and mop floors) - leaving for now as vacuum is upstairs.
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
    Got an hour...
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer filters need to be done too!!

Advantage of having a small kitchen which I regularly S&S, this shouldn't take long at all. Back soon

Hope you're all well or better than yesterday at least? Earlier start today because of DS2's saxophone lesson (do you think all groups started off with their mum's as roadies? - Bono and The Edge waiting whilst their Mammies carried the heavy stuff?). May need some coffee.

Today's list is long as didn't get all of yesterday's done but it still needs doing, though thankfully a few things were done at the weekend so hopefully it will all average out.

    Monday Madness leftovers-Study/Pc Area
    Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
    defragment your pc
Clear a mega hotspot!.. shred it.. and fling it.. or just burn it!
Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
Wipe down the doors and frames in these rooms.

A day late but apparently my OH thinks I'm super woman so need to look after LO and do the cooking & cleaning! I will get the hang of it soon enough though, otherwise he's threatening to get a cleaner and I really don't want one. Will try to do as much as possible from the lists :)

Anything not there has been done.

  • Good morning

Apologies for being a day late, but please count me in for the remainder of this week, and thanks Natty and Dusty for respective lists.

I also have a question - is it possible for one's body clock to change in their 50s? Went to bed earlier than usual on Sunday and last night (only by a matter of minutes), slept through both nights and woke up at about 7.30 on the following mornings. Usually waking up can happen any time between 4 and 7, haven't slept through in months and this happens whatever time the head hits the pillow, be it early or late. The only reason that might have caused it is that I was out on both Sunday and Monday evenings, walked to both locations and am wondering if that might have made me more tired than usual? Am also being social later on this morning as well as this evening (I'm turning into a right gadabout!), walking to both locations again, so let's see what tomorrow morning brings .....

Right, am off to mix'n'match till about noon - hope to post later.

I have a cheque to go in bank so I shall sort that later when I send OH to get his dad a burpday card for Thursday..

OH sent upstairs to gather wash baskets and strip our sheets.

Quick cuppa then I'm going to start the admin. Very productive HHC which slightly over ran ;)

    Monday Madness- Bathroom
Clean toilets, don't forget under the rim! Soaking in bleach now.

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    30 minutes to spare...
(Sweep and mop floors & KICK BOARDS) - leaving for now as vacuum is upstairs.
    Got an hour...
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer filters need to be done too!!

Using the WM/TD today so will clean them when I'm done, and I clean the kickboards when I do the floor as I always seem to get a tide line of dust on them :o

    Next lot of jobs:

    Personal (for week)
    Copy mirror notes onto paper!
    Clean mirrors
Start 'big shop' list - in progress since I have an app for that :rotfl:
Laundry (lights, darks, reds, towels) - split the towel wash so I now have 5 loads!
    Ironing
    Shredding
    Update finances
Email (log into work email online and sort, personal email to sort, follow up anything needing action, do surveys etc)
Log into school website after finding parent log in info (add log in info to diary reference page) chase up any log-in problems asap.
Sort out lists to laminate (time management plan for 3 week schedule)
Sort this years birthday card list out (Double check there's no 'special' except DD turning 13 & Nephew 1st)
Errand list (bank, card shop, supermarkets?)
HH photo sorting. (Yes, that Cane toad is back on my list!)

Time to get on with the admin. Think I'll do email first as thats the most tedious but can be done while I finish my cuppa ;)

Ionafan and Kaz2904, today's date - 4th Feburary - is the lowest day of the year for people who are affected by any kind of seasonal *meh*. Here's hoping that your DHs get their arrises in gear from tomorrow onwards, or I fear the sound of slapping might be heard nationwide.

The dining room needs dustying, and I'll finish off today's kitchen list while I'm at it. It really is time the cutlery drawer had a bit of a springclean. Even I semi-urge when I see the crud swilling about in the bottom of it. *Note to self* Next time I buy a cutlery tray/drawer tidy, get one with a brown base.
    Better is good enough.
